A nice cool shower first thing in the morning wakes me up completely and leaves me refreshed. Before taking the shower, I am usually so sleepy that I can hardly open my eyes. As soon as I splash cold water over my face and body, I wake up with a pleasurable sensation. Then, as I stand there under the gushing showerhead, feeling the coolness of water over my body and listening to the sound of water gurgling down the drain, I feel totally refreshed and relaxed. I enjoy taking morning showers. It is the best way I know to get the day off to a good start.

　　星期五，我去观看了学校举办的英语节，同行的有其他三位课代表。

　　我们刚到时，一位叔叔正在门前检票，我们便把票交过去，进去了。墙上都装饰着五彩缤纷的气球和彩带，演员们穿着演出服走来走去，大家都兴奋地说笑。

　　后来一位老师站在台上维持着会场的秩序，经过老师一次次的维持，不一会儿台下便鸦雀无声。可随着一阵音乐的响起，有人开始窃窃私语，不久会场便再次喧闹起来。音乐停后，还是止不住大家的兴奋劲儿，吵闹声越来越大。

　　又一阵音乐向起，六位主持人走上舞台，喧闹声夏然而止，掌声突然响起。可主持人一开口，大家立刻安静下来，宁静片刻后，阵阵私语声传入我的耳朵，双双睁大了的眼睛正对着舞台——他们讲的是英语！

　　接下来的讲话也是英语，让我很是迷茫，不过让我欣慰的是：我还是能听懂一两句的。

　　第一个节目上场了，《do re mi》这首著名的歌曲被同学们以歌舞剧的形式夺得了观众们热列的掌声。第二个节目是话剧《 new waiting for the rabbit》，它以易懂的语言，有趣的剧情让观众们一次次随着音乐打节奏，一次次哈哈大笑和鼓掌。《 monster》是由三个女生演唱的歌曲，一口流利的英语真让人羡慕啊！不过第四个节目我实在是看不懂。第五个节目是歌曲串烧：第一首是听力教材上的一首歌，不过我忘记歌名了，第二首听起来也很熟悉，但也忘了是什么了，第三首是《冰雪奇缘》的主题曲，演员们都盛装出场，一上场便收获了满屋的掌声。《白雪公主》这个话剧勾起了大家对小时在床头听妈妈讲故事的.场景的回忆。第七个节目是歌曲，演员的优美嗓者使大家都随着音乐打起节奏，第八个节目表演时，全场鸦雀无声，或许大家都和我一样看不懂或看的入迷了吧！第九个节是歌曲串烧，不得不说的是前两个女孩的声音真是太好听了，后来的街舞也是很吸引眼的。第十个节目是八班的话剧，不过可能是大家看了这么久的节目疲劳了，也可能是话筒声音比较小，台下的同学们一直在说话。《我的祖国和我》前半部分是朗诵，没多少人在鼓掌，可后来一个女孩的独唱却赢来了观众们的阵阵掌声。后来的歌曲剧、话剧《小猪佩奇》、歌曲《柠檬树》，话剧《灰姑娘》、《荆轲刺秦王》，舞蹈《a good time》都得到了观众的一致好评。最难忘的是第十九个节目，有爵士舞、有歌唱，还有街舞和篮球，最后主持人还撒了糖。

　　通过这次英语节，我发现在英语方面，我的进步空间可能比天地间的距离还要长，还要长……

　　China has carried out the exam-orientated education system for many years which is a result of the ancient education system .There are some advantages of this system, but as far as I’m concerned, there are more disadvantages,as a graduated student in china,when they go looking for a job,they get into trouble,they lack of experience result in don’t hired by lots of company,it pointed to important differences examination orient education and quality orient education.

　　Firstly, exam-orientated education is giving students too much pressure to even take a breath. Higher marks mean better schools. So what they do to get a better school is to study harder. A survey result shoes that middle school’s textbooks in China are more difficult than those in some developed countries. It’s not beneficial to students at all. Secondly, the exam-orientated education system gives students too little time to join in some extracurricular activities, which results in a narrow outlook of students.

　　Thirdly, the exam-orientated education pays more attention to textbooks and exams than students’ creativity. This kills a students’ imagination. What a disaster it is! Besides, the exam-orientated education system has created thousands of similar students who only know how to get high marks in exams. That is to say, students’ personalities are restricted by the education system.

　　In a word, the exam-orientated education system is not beneficial to students enough space to develop themselves in every aspects.

　　However to maintain a better position in the approaching information age, we must realize that developing quality-oriented education is an urgent task. First of all,The new age calls for open-minded, creative and enthusiastic student,Their humanity qualities and practical skill ought to be in parallel with knowledge.
