　　here was a basketball game in our school this afternoon. It was between class 3 and class 6 of grade 2. They are the best teams in our school. When the game started, both of them played actively.

　　I could only see the ball pass quickly from one to another. It was really a wonderful game. At last class 6 won the first prize and class 3 congratulated them warmly. They really embodied the sports spirit of "friendship first, competition second".

　　今天下午我们学校有一场篮球比赛。比赛双方是高二3班和6班。他们是我们学校最好的两只队伍。当游戏开始的'时候，两只队伍都踢得很积极。

　　我只能看到球从一个人快速传给另一个人。这真是一场精彩的比赛。最后6班得了一等奖，3班球员衷心地向他们表示祝贺。他们真正体现了“友谊第一，比赛第二”的体育精神。

　　这周星期五，也就是二零一四年的三月七日。我参加了由cctv主办的英语风采大赛。其中，笔试部分真是太难了。

　　一进大厅便是人山人海、“赛”人如织。挤都挤不过来。所以逼得我没办法，只好用参赛证和铅笔袋护着头，硬撞进去。好不容易排上队了，又被别人踩了好几脚，哎~我真倒霉啊！“啊！”我心想，“我得仔细听着工作人员有没有点到我的名字才行。”于是，我竖起耳朵仔细的听着。忽然我好像是听到自己的'名字了，便急急忙忙挤了过去，到了前面，“哦，你就是高明睿。请抽签吧！”我随便从箱子里抽了一个号码牌，“二十二号！”我先是一愣，继而是叹了一口气，“二十二号，挺靠后的。”

　　过了一会儿，一个工作人员把我们这二十几个人全都领到了二楼一个教室里面。一共有两张卷子，一张是对你的英语学习情况进行了解，比如：你读英语报纸吗？A、经常B、偶尔C、只读过一次D、从未读过。让你选择并在A、B、C、D前面打对号。接着又发了第二张试卷儿，太难了。第一、二题是听力部分。第一题是他说一个句子让你选A、Yes,heisB、Yes,sheisC、Yes,theyis.第二题是他说一个故事，让你选试卷上面写得是对还是错。我们让工作人员放了五遍都没怎么听懂。

　　过了一会儿，我们把笔试做完后，开始静静地背诵我们准备的故事。然后，工作人员觉得A1组已经结束了，就把我们五人一组五人一组的带下去进行才艺表演。当你背诵完后（如果你还没背完就到时间了就会让你停住），外教就会给你提供一张照片并提问你一至三个问题，如果你答不上来，外教就会对你说：“thankyou.”

　　I am an active girl, and I like playing sports very much. My favourite sport is swimming. Today my topic is My favorite sport. When I am swimming in the pool, I am very happy. I look like a lovely fish in the pond. I enjoy swimming, because swimming can make me strong and healthy. It can also bring me a lot of happiness.

　　I swim three times a week. Most often I swim in my school. I feel very happy when I swim in school with my friends. I often go to swim with my good friend Lily. She likes swimming,too. And she is very good at it. She always swims better than me. Sometimes I swim in the swimming club near my home during summer vacations. Swimming is not so hard as some people imagine. But many young people dream to become big stars like Sun Yang, which is rather difficult because you should, first of all, be gifted and then have a lot of practice from early age in order to become very good player.

　　When early man invented clothes,he probably wanted to keep warm.I am sure he never intended that it should become as elaborate as it has become today.For many a year,traditional clothes and modern clothes have been in competition as to which of them make the wearer more beautiful.But it does seem that a lot of modern clothes are simpler and more practical.Perhaps we are moving back to the age of cavemen who wore clothes for practical purposes.

　　Modern clothes are definitely more practical as against traditional clothes.Almost all people now wear modern clothes.Nowadays even more and more people wear casual clothes.Jeans are everywhere except at formal parties.T-shirts are common,too.They look comfortable and fashionable.However,there are also a lot of people who take the trouble to dress well in formal clothes like shirts,trousers and suits.I find them smart,too.

　　But then,it is important to hold on to our topic.In my opinion,each type of dress has its place.Modern clothes are ideal for most situations,while casual clothes are worn more freely.As to traditional clothes,they must be worn for special occasions
