　　上个月，希望之星昂立英语大赛报名了！我兴奋不已，立刻报上名，拿到了一个名额。

　　报上名后我才知道，全市有二千多人参加这次比赛，选拔赛后只有500个晋级名额，一听到这个消息，我马上像泄了气的皮球，没有信心了。那天晚上，轮到我上场了，我从容地走上台，勉强把稿子背了一遍，下台后才发现嘴里竟还含着口香糖呢！没想到公布成绩时我竟然也晋级了！真让我又惊讶又高兴！

　　复赛时，我的分数不是很高，但还是顺利晋级。这下我忽然担心起来，生怕决赛时被刷下来了。回家后，我又把稿子重新修改了一遍，把每个单词、每个句子都反复朗读，做到精确无误，还用心设计了每一个动作。我信心满满地走上台，一开口，评委的脸上就露出了笑容，我流畅地做着自我介绍、演讲、才艺展示。我们五个人都讲完了，评委进行了认真的.点评，最后公布成绩——— 我取得了我们组的最高分！这一次又顺利晋级了！我高兴得心花怒放，合不拢嘴。妈妈也高兴地抱着我亲了又亲。

　　这次比赛意义非凡，我一生也忘不了，因为我从这次比赛中懂得了成功只留给那些准备充分的人！
