　　第一节课，我们要进行英语第一单元过关检测。一想起自己已经一个星期没有跟读录音了，我心里还真有点没底。上课铃响了，老师拿着卷子进来的那一瞬，教室里顿时鸦雀无声。

　　一拿到练习卷，我就傻了眼：里边有好多我见也没见过的难题，一会儿是解释单词的中文意思，一会儿是选择题，做得我晕头转向。我看着每个选项都是那么相似，只好胡乱蒙个答案写上。交卷的时候，我垂头丧气地自言自语：“哎！学生学生，越学越生了！”

　　第二天，卷子发下来了，我蒙住眼不敢看，嘴里不住地念叨着：“给我一个好分数吧！”过了好一会儿，我才把眼睛缓缓张开，却失望地看到了一个我想也不敢想的.低分。我的心里顿时乱成一片：完了完了，妈妈该怎么收拾我呀！

　　我低着头回到家。妈妈看了看试卷，说：“这次算了，以后你可得多听录音，考个好成绩啊！”听了妈妈的话，我感动极了，暗暗下决心：以后一定要努力，可不能再让妈妈失望了！
