　　前一段时间，我参加了“希望之星”英语比赛，没想到进入了复赛。复赛比初赛难多了，初赛只需要用英语进行自我介绍，再加上才艺表演就行了，而复赛呢，除了这两项之外，还要看图用英语说句子。比赛的图片有20多张，比赛前两分钟进行抽签、准备，然后就要上场了。

　　这一个礼拜，我一直在为比赛做准备，可是因为图片太多了，时间又紧张，所以我只准备了其中的10多幅图片。

　　星期六下午，妈妈陪我去参加英语比赛。抽签的时候，我看见我准备的'图片都被别的小朋友一张张抽走了，心里有点儿紧张。轮到我了，果然，我抽到了一幅没有准备过图片，我想：“这下可完了，真倒霉！可是，都已经到了，也没办法了，只能再努力准备一下了。”上场的时候，我不再紧张，我大方地做了自我介绍，并唱了一首英语歌，看图说话开始了，大屏幕上出示了图片，老师把话筒递给我。我先介绍了图片上的人物，在介绍他们在干什么，30秒中里面，我大概说了八、九个句子。

　　比赛结束了，妈妈表扬我发挥的很好。不知道会不会进绍兴市的比赛，但是不管结果如何，这都是一次很好的经历。

So when I went to school, I joined the basketball team in my class, we made up of a basketball team. Last week, we had our first match.

　　I was asked to play in the first time, I felt so nervous, I am so afraid that I could not cooperate with my team well. When the match started, I watched the basketball and moved as the ball flied, I forgot my job, I was asked to cover the team leader. I recognized my mistake, I changed my move, at last, I covered our captain successfully, our team won the game.

　　I learned so much from this match, team work comes first.

　　The contest was held at the playground last Saturday morning, 7:00a.m. The panel is made up of 5 English teachers from our school, all of whom were experienced. Moreover, a total number of 20 competitors came from we Grade 2. It was made a rule that the top 3 competitors would be awarded. It is a great competition and all the participants perform well. I was so lucky that I won the first place.

　　今天下午我们学校举行了英语节歌曲大家唱，我们都很兴奋。我们有的在家画好妆有的在班上画好妆，个个都美美的帅帅的。

　　来到音乐厅，我们先坐好看其他班级表演，大家的服装都很漂亮整齐。我们只看了五个节目，大家的.节目都很精彩，二年级三班的同学表演了《爸爸去哪儿》我觉得表演的很棒，是我比较喜欢的一个节目。

　　我真想再看几个节目。不过就要到我们表演了，我们要去准备了。我们表演的是《Twinkle Twinkle Little Star》，我们表演的也很精彩，女孩子的衣服闪闪的，男同学的是夏季礼服看起来像个小绅士。前面六个女同学他们表演的动作最难了，我们男同学的动作比较简单，就在那里一站一坐的，最后拍手。我们没有看到剩下的节目，表演完我们就回到教室吃冰激凌了，吃完冰激凌我们还去合了影。

　　如果下次还有这种大型节目，我们要更认真表现更好，因为那时我们又长大了一些，我希望下次男同学也有动作。

　　Now I would like to introduce the rules for the contest

　　Today's competition has two phases: The first phase is a 5 minutes’ speech show, which composes 60% of the score. In this part, the contestants are supposed to make a 3 minutes’ impromptu speech according to the topics , and then they will answer the questions raised by our judges, and the time limit is 2 minutes.

　　And the second phase is the role play of each contestant, which takes 40% of the final score. Every one of them will be given 5 minutes to display their role they selected beforehand.

　　After the performance by the contestants, our judges will give fair judgment according to the comprehensive performance of each contestant. We will have one champion, two second prizes winners, three third prize and the rest contestants will get the Excellence Award. I wish all of them achieve a lot, and have good luck.

　　记得那是三年级的一天，我们正在上课，程老师面带笑容地走进教师，把我叫到办公室，并高兴地对我说：“你已被定为参加英语歌比赛的一名选手。”我听后，心里就像十五个吊桶打水——七上八下，一时不知所措，不由地皱起了眉头。
