I am an active girl, and I like playing sports very much. My favourite sport is swimming. Today my topic is My favorite sport. When I am swimming in the pool, I am very happy. I look like a lovely fish in the pond. I enjoy swimming, because swimming can make me strong and healthy. It can also bring me a lot of happiness.
I swim three times a week. Most often I swim in my school. I feel very happy when I swim in school with my friends. I often go to swim with my good friend Lily. She likes swimming,too. And she is very good at it. She always swims better than me. Sometimes I swim in the swimming club near my home during summer vacations. Swimming is not so hard as some people imagine. But many young people dream to become big stars like Sun Yang, which is rather difficult because you should, first of all, be gifted and then have a lot of practice from early age in order to become very good player.
I hope I will become a swimmer in the future.

今天下午，我去会议室参加了英语讲故事比赛。一进会议室，最前面一排有几位老师，后面依次是从三年级到五年级的参赛选手。我发现，我还挺喜欢比赛的。因为比赛前的那种心情很紧张，但紧张中又夹带着几分兴奋。
先是五年级比赛，之后依次往下。轮到我了。站到台上的时候，我的双腿有些发抖，翻开书读时，第一句读错了，我赶紧改进。为了不让自己再读错，我让自己的心冷静下来。双腿也不再抖得那么厉害了。我讲的故事是《爱唱歌的鸟，内容是有一只爱唱歌的鸟，国王把它关进笼子里，给它美味的食物，可它就是不唱。最后国王把它放走了，她又像以前那样唱歌了。现在所有人都很高兴。讲完了，我走下台，回到自己的'座位上。有一个女孩跟我的故事一样，她很有感情把它背诵了出来，还做着动作。我是读的，有一点感情，没有做动作。我心想，下次讲故事要背下来，要有感情和动作。
这次英语讲故事比赛真有意思。
