　　几天前，英语老师把我叫到了她的办公室里说道：“过几天有个英语书法比赛，你平时书写不错去参加吧，回去之后先把本课的课文写一写，练练手，下午把写的拿过来我看一看，指导一下！”我郑重地点了点头

　　中午，我一回到家，就飞快地拿出了英语练习本认认真真地写了几遍，接着选了一张写的最好的下午到校后交给了英语老师，英语老师细致地指导了我，比如竖要写直，行笔手不要抖等，我牢牢记在了心里，接下来的两天我按照英语老师的指导一遍又一遍地规范地练习，我进步得很快，我在心里暗暗地想：有付出一定会有收获！只要努力这次比赛我一定能得一等奖。

　　2月2日下午，我要参加阿斯顿英语学校举行的口语演讲比赛的总决赛。虽然我并没有任何压力，可妈妈却认为，进入决赛的同学们都是水平很高的，他们的英语口语非常好，你学英语起步晚，平时在家又没怎么练，对名次、奖励什么的别抱太大期望，重在参与就好。

　　听了妈妈的这番话，我并没有往心里去，而是继续认真的背诵演讲稿，心想，我一定要得奖。

　　时间不知不觉的来到了这一天，我心里多少也没底，因为并不知道其他参赛选手的实力如何。不过，我对自己还是有信心的，希望自己能取得一个不错的成绩。

　　那天下午，我早早的来到了比赛场地。发现来了的同学们都在认真的.看自己的演讲稿，我找到一个比较靠前的座位，边看演讲稿，边等待比赛的开始。

　　两点整，比赛正式开始。主持人Vivian宣读了比赛规则以及评分标准。然后让我们到评委席去抽签决定比赛顺序。我本以为自己能抽到中间的位置，没想到竟然抽了个第二。看来得好好发挥了。

　　很快就轮到我了，我从老师的手中接过话筒，走上舞台，先鞠了一躬。之后稍作停顿，开始了演讲。我演讲的内容是介绍我的学校生活，就像在家里无数次练习的那样，内容早已背诵的滚瓜烂熟，我并不感到紧张。只是，中途不知为什么，话筒好像出了问题，时好时坏，使大家听到的声音是断断续续的。我没有被这个小问题干扰到，努力大声地演讲，等话筒一好就稍稍减弱声音。这样，大家并没有听出声音有什么变化。不知不觉中，我的演讲内容结束了。这时候，轮到外教提问了。我走下舞台，从一堆纸条里面任意抽了两张，分别是banana和boy，我仔细看了一眼便作了回答。OK,我顺利过关了，心情顿时轻松了不少。

　　我本以为这次参加演讲的选手实力都很强，没想到几乎个个都紧张的不得了，影响了各自的实力发挥。这让我悬着的心稍稍放了下来。

　　到了宣布结果的时候了，我紧张又认真的听着。哦！我的总分是94分，竟然顺利的进入了前三名，获得三等奖！不光有奖学金，还有证书以及一套迪士尼学习用品。看来，我的努力没有白费，如愿以偿的实现了我得奖的愿望。

　　这一个礼拜，我一直在为比赛做准备，可是因为图片太多了，时间又紧张，所以我只准备了其中的10多幅图片。

　　星期六下午，妈妈陪我去参加英语比赛。抽签的时候，我看见我准备的图片都被别的.小朋友一张张抽走了，心里有点儿紧张。轮到我了，果然，我抽到了一幅没有准备过图片，我想：“这下可完了，真倒霉！可是，都已经到了，也没办法了，只能再努力准备一下了。”上场的时候，我不再紧张，我大方地做了自我介绍，并唱了一首英语歌，看图说话开始了，大屏幕上出示了图片，老师把话筒递给我。我先介绍了图片上的人物，在介绍他们在干什么，30秒中里面，我大概说了八、九个句子。
