　　It is impossible to recall all the past, but I can assure you that my childhood is a pleasant one to me.

　　When I was in kinder garden, I was very popular with my playmates because of my naughtiness. Once I made an arrow, with which I hurt one of my playmates and received scolding from my mother afterwards.

　　When I grew up, my father and mother dare not allow me to play outside. But sometimes when we had time they would bring me to the parks, movies and went swimming.

　　I like swimming very much. Thank them for teaching me swimming. I like to play with my friends because I was only a girl. My mother often scolded me when I didn't get home after school but never too severely.

　　I love my parents. I do think it is one of the best years in my whole life.

　　当我踏上讲台时，看见台下黑鸦鸦的一群人，心里“砰砰！！”地跳个不停，非常害怕出错，可是看到老师和同学支持的眼神，使我更加有自信，好不容易完成演说，我很开心，因为我克服了恐惧，完成使命，到了公布成绩时刻，大家都鸦雀无声，当听到第一名“陈佳缘”时，我立刻跳起来，同学都为我鼓掌，心想:“辛苦是有价值的。”

　　难忘的经验，有好也有坏，都应该好好珍惜，如果失败，要加以改善，也不要气馁，检讨自己优缺点，加以改善，做为下次成功的垫脚石，就如俗语说的好:“失败为成功之母”；如果成功，就要更进步，努力往前奋斗，这次英语演讲比赛，不仅给自己更大的信心，还留给我难忘的回忆，凡是努力去做，不管成功或失败都会有很大收获。

　　今天，侯老师定下了参加英语儿歌比赛的同学。我没有被选上，我有点失望。原因是最近我生病，没有提前准备，而且今天我背诵时声音太低。

　　回到了家，我把这件事告诉了妈妈，妈妈开导我说：“这次没选上没关系，最主要的'是以后老师布置的事情要提前认真准备，背诵时要大声，发音准确，吐字清楚。”我暗暗地下决心：以后要积极参加学校的各项活动、认真仔细地做好每件事。

　　老师通知我今天下午去迎泽区少年宫参加英语口语比赛，我和妈妈中午一点半就从家中出发了，天气真热呀！

　　一走进大门就看见许多同学在排队，我拿着参赛证报了到，一位老师把我安排在最前面，我看了看周围，有的同学拿着稿子在那儿读，看着他们那样，我也默默地把稿子在心中念了一次，然后迈着沉重的脚步到了参赛大厅，上一组的同学出来，我们这一组就开始了，只见我前面的同学读的很流利，我很紧张，生怕自己中间卡了壳。轮到我上场了，我的紧张就像一阵风一样飘走了，我大方地走上台，开始讲述我的'演讲稿，我讲的也很流利，还加了几个动作，说完后还和评委说了谢谢。评委老师根据我的内容用英语向我提问三个问题，我也用英语回答了老师，从评委老师脸上的表情看他们对我感觉很好。

　　明天就可以在网上查我成绩了，我希望能进入复赛，然后进入决赛。

　　妈妈的话：睿参加是第六届全国英语口语大赛山西选拔赛，准备的不是很充足，老师一共辅导了两次，我们就在家让睿多练习，前一段时间要期末考试就没怎么管，也不知道什么时候比赛，老师通知比赛我们才管了管，上去自我感觉还不错，今天电话通知睿进入了复赛，7月8、9号比赛，我觉得已经很不错了，不管能否进入决赛已经不重要了，重要是过程，让孩子体会一下比赛过程我觉得比拿奖更为的重要。

　　But then,it is important to hold on to our topic.In my opinion,each type of dress has its place.Modern clothes are ideal for most situations,while casual clothes are worn more freely.As to traditional clothes,they must be worn for special occasions
