　　今天晚上，霄霄哥哥一进家门就提议道：“我们举行一场英语比赛吧！”我和洋洋哥哥也不甘落后，异口同声的说：“比就比。”

　　妈妈为我们设定了比赛规则：比赛分为笔试和口试。第一名三元钱，第二名二元钱，第三名一元钱。霄霄哥哥兴致高涨，迫不及待地想看看题目。我胸有成竹地坐在沙发上看书。洋洋哥哥听了心里直打鼓。比赛开始了，霄霄哥哥侧着身子，把“卷子”放在桌子底下，以免被洋洋哥哥偷看。洋洋哥哥在一旁抓耳挠腮，眼睛不时地瞟一眼霄霄的“卷子”。我躲在一个房间里飞快的做完了自己的题目。我忐忑不安地拿给妈妈改分，心像小兔子一样“碰碰”直跳。我的分数出来了，是九十五分，这是因为粗心的我把Tuesday写成Tuseday了。虽然如此，我还是松了口气。因为两个哥哥成绩都没我好。口试的时候所有的`题目都很简单，大家全得了满分。于是我得了第一名。我高兴得眉开眼笑，身体里的“小白兔”好像也在为我高兴呢！

　　哪里知道比赛的前一天晚上，我却紧张的睡不着觉，再床上翻来覆去的，直到清晨四点才迷迷糊糊的睡去。

　　到学校的时候，我一点精神也没有，全身软绵绵的，晕头转向的，这样能比赛吗？谁知道一听到比赛的`钟声响起，我一下子充满了精力，精神奕奕的上场了。

　　这次比赛的对手，一个比一个强。我努力的把平日练习的成果，自然的展现了出来。

　　果然不出老师所料，我真的拿到了第一名，我大大的松了一口气。得到第一名的感觉实在太棒了，我的一切努力都得到了回报。

　　可是跟比赛仅一天时间,马流畅很难把稿子读的既流利又有感情,还加上动作,老师不得不把马流畅去掉。

　　现在只剩我和申紫涵,好害怕呀!

　　终于到了比赛的一天,我们的“战地”是市二中。到了那里,我更加紧张了,可当我看到三位评委和蔼可亲的`微笑时,却放松了很多。

　　“二号选手,麻雨露”“啊,轮到我了”我心里更慌了 ,这时,坐在我一旁的英语老师鼓励我,说:“别怕,相信自己,你最棒!”

　　我鼓起勇气,走上台开始演讲。因为我是二号选手,后面还有很多同学,所以我们等了很长时间才结束,出来时我的腿都发软了,可老师却说,这次比赛不是为了拿奖,而是为了锻炼我们的勇气,当然,拿奖最好,但那些都是次要的!

　　谁也没有想到,我竟然晋级了,老师又给我一篇稿子,我现在正在认认真真的背稿子。我相信通过我的努力我还会再晋级的!

　　The game was scheduled to start at start at eight o’clock on Friday night. Long before that, people began to arrive at the gymnasium. By seven-thirty the seats were almost filled.

　　The school band was there; they wore yellow and black uniforms. They started to play at about a quarter to eight. Everybody stood up, and the people sang. The game was about to start.

　　Two teams ran out to the floor. The referee blew his whistle, and the game started. A basketball game is divided into two halves, and each half is divided into two quarters. There is a rest period between the halves.

　　During the first five minutes of the second half, the score was tied. From then on, the game was very exciting. First one team made a basket, then the other.

　　The people cheered, and everybody was wondering which team was going to win. The ball hit the rim of the basket and seemed to hang there for a moment, and then it fell through the basket. The whistle blew and the game was over. Home team won, 70 to 68.

　　比赛开始了！我们班被分成了四组，每组四人，我被排在B队。我们B队选中我负责记录物品，一个男老师分给了我纸和笔，开始报物品的英文，总共是10个单词。我那时候的心情应该是紧张加激动吧，十种简简单单的物品，我却有好几个字不会写，哎！真是太紧张了。

　　写好清单后，接下来的活动就有点像电视上的“购物街”。我们B队飞快地冲进了物品区，开始分头行动，按着清单上的物品，我们顺利地把十样物品都找齐了，水彩笔、计算器、糖果……看来胜利就在眼前了。

　　紧接着我们队进入了最后一个阶段就是归还物品。趁A组还没好时，我们队把物品仔细对照了一遍，又把英文单词念了一下，应该是没问题了。如果胜利女神对我们微笑，我们就可以到曼德沃超市去参加半决赛、决赛，那该有多好哇！

　　轮到我们了，我太紧张了，竟然把果冻单词都读错了，不过马上就纠正过来了。比赛还在进行中，我们队顺利地读出了一个又一个的单词，后来我们把所有的`物品都归还给老师，比赛就结束了。觉得比赛时间好短，我感到好像还没有玩够似的。

　　最后，我们队拿了第一名，这一刻，我们的美梦突然实现了，我们队可以进入半决赛了！今天我好开心，我想我也会在半决赛中好好努力的。

　　前一段时间，我参加了“希望之星”英语比赛，没想到进入了复赛。复赛比初赛难多了，初赛只需要用英语进行自我介绍，再加上才艺表演就行了，而复赛呢，除了这两项之外，还要看图用英语说句子。比赛的图片有20多张，比赛前两分钟进行抽签、准备，然后就要上场了。

　　这一个礼拜，我一直在为比赛做准备，可是因为图片太多了，时间又紧张，所以我只准备了其中的10多幅图片。

　　星期六下午，妈妈陪我去参加英语比赛。抽签的时候，我看见我准备的.图片都被别的小朋友一张张抽走了，心里有点儿紧张。轮到我了，果然，我抽到了一幅没有准备过图片，我想：“这下可完了，真倒霉！可是，都已经到了，也没办法了，只能再努力准备一下了。”上场的时候，我不再紧张，我大方地做了自我介绍，并唱了一首英语歌，看图说话开始了，大屏幕上出示了图片，老师把话筒递给我。我先介绍了图片上的人物，在介绍他们在干什么，30秒中里面，我大概说了八、九个句子。

　　比赛结束了，妈妈表扬我发挥的很好。不知道会不会进绍兴市的比赛，但是不管结果如何，这都是一次很好的经历。

　　今天我们到青龙中学（六中）去参加双语比赛，我到了以后发现同学们差不多已经都到齐了。然后我们便自己准备起了英语短文，这样可以等待还没有来的同学。等到同学们都来齐了，Ms yu便带领我们进去了。校园里边特别漂亮，喷泉花坛、全塑胶跑道、参天大树还有整齐的教学楼，我们带队的同学竟然被这美丽的风景迷住了，差一点儿就带着同学们走到操场上。但是幸亏Ms yu叫住了我们，然后我们围成一个圈表演，李晓曷第一个，她上去以后背的非常快而且中文没背就想下去，被Ms yu一下退了回去背了中文，我是第二个上去的，我表情自如，动作加的非常到位但是Ms yu说我声音太小，语速太快。

　　终于工作人员过来说：“B组的同学比赛了，B组的赶紧过来！”我们排成两队走到大厅，然后工作人员点名，我是第6个。我们按顺序排好队后，就走进了初一九班，然后抽签按顺序号入座我15号、梅笑寒14号、宋淑涵13号和陈玥琦17号我觉得真的是太有缘了，第一组开始比赛了，是1—10号比赛。所以我们又等了漫长的几十分钟，终于轮到我们比赛了，我们进入了比赛场地，这时我看到了一个男老师，两个女老师，和一个女外教。夏侯杨子先上，他一上场就问了老师几个问题特别搞笑，然后才开始背的……，终于到了我上场了，我站的笔直背的英文流利，中文标准，声音洪亮的都可以听见回音了，外教的问题也都全部答对了。所有的参赛选手都答的非常好，我们就退场了，我们出来以后Ms yu紧张的问我们答的怎么样？我们都说答的很好，听了我们的.回答她的脸上露出了满意的笑容…………等过了漫长的1个小时，成绩出来了，我得了97分！全组（35人）第一名！我当时心里非常高兴：我今天能取得这么优异的成绩，和Ms yu平时的辛勤辅导是分不开的，在这里我要感谢Ms yu！

　　When I was chosen to attend the competition,I felt nervous first,for my English was not good.But after a deep thinking,I made a decision that I should go for it.That's a very good opportunity for me to improve my English,as well as know more about the environmental protection which is of great importance to us human beings.I began to learn English very hard,paying much attention to the knowledge of environmental protection,such as using environmentally friendly bags instead of plastic ones,saving water and electricity and taking a bus and underground when going out.That's hard work,but I enjoyed it.

　　The exciting time came at last.On the morning of July 27th,20xx,thousands of people crowded at the Youth Culture Palace,watching the contest.Now it was my turn to perform.I was a little nervous at first.I tried to calm down.Soon I was OK.I answered the questions one after another,no mistakes occurring.Ten minutes passed by,I went back to my seat,smiles on my face.I did a good job.
