　　一、关于consumer的争论

　　许多同学都说在写作的时候如果要提到"客户"这个词，势必要使用consumer。其理由中的逻辑如下：首先，consumer这个词常常在真题阅读中出现；而且在考研的圈子里头大家都说如果你在写作中能够使用真题阅读中出现过的单词就一定给高分。

　　看似严密的逻辑其实有着很大的漏洞。如果按照这个逻辑推导，那么诸如a,the,one这样的简单词汇不也在阅读真题里比比皆是么?难道用了这样的几个词也能够让你获得高分?显然这么思考是站不住脚的，所以我们需要真正理性对待这个词的'替换问题。

　　那么问题又来了，备选项中存在client,purchaser和shopper（另外customer在重复频度上已属写作中的垃圾词汇，遂在此不予探讨）这几个词当中，到底谁是最佳人选。很多同学觉得purchaser是个十分高大上的词汇，于是很多同学都选了这个。但是老师们在批改作文的过程中发现，相当多的同学都喜欢使用这个词，想必大家都认为purchase本身就是个档次较高的词，那么它的派生词也一定差不到哪里去。

　　这个问题巧就巧在大家都会这么想，有点类似于博弈论，大家都觉得可能的选项最终成为最不可能的一个。而大家觉得最不起眼的shopper却绝对占到了便宜，成为了这类替换词中的首选。因此建议大家能够使用shopper一词，在替换中一定能够起到非常良好的效果。

　　二、Very的兄弟们

　　这个词从我们开始学英语的时候就存在了，属于我们的单词量中元老级成员。但是在写作中如果你用到了它，只能显示你的词汇量是多么地贫乏。

　　于是我们给出的替换词是exceedingly和extremely.许多同学欣然接受，但是有的同学对此还是表示了担忧，因为他们觉得这两个词指称的含义已经远远超越了表达"非常"的概念，说起来也不无道理，毕竟前者直译为"过度地"而后者直译为"极端地"。

　　但殊不知在阅卷人忙碌的扫眼中，他们往往来不及去斟酌这个层面的事情，更何况这样替换本来就有其本身的合理性，即他们两两之间的意义是有交集的。不过如果你还是不放心，我们还可以使用pretty,rather,quite和fairly。

　　其中要注意这里的pretty并非形容词"漂亮、可爱"的意思，而仅仅是一个程度副词，其用法和功能与very高度一致，因此大家也可以在写作练习中尽量多次、有意使用这个词，一旦练熟了就不会觉得有什么问题了。
