　　我们的新英文老师是史密斯先生。他戴着一副厚厚的眼睛，表情总是很严肃，对我们也很严格，我从没见他笑过。教师节到了。我和同学们计划要送给他一份特别的礼物——给他一个微笑。于是，淘气的`约翰假装昏倒在教室。史密斯先生一进教室，吓了一大跳，赶紧抱起约翰往医院跑。在路上，约翰突然大笑了起来，这把老师弄糊涂了。在我们告诉老师这只是一个玩笑以后，老师也开怀大笑起来。终于看见老师笑了，我们很开心。

　　Our new English teacher is Mr. Smith. He wears a pair of thick glasses. He is very serious and strict to us. I never saw him smile until the Teachers’ Day.
