一个不平凡的周一，中午匆匆忙忙吃完饭骑车来到指定地点化妆，英语节就这样悄然地到来了。
经过长时间的排练，我们所表演地《百万英镑》由生疏到熟练，每个人都把自己的台词驾驭地非常好。第二节课下过后，我们几个小伙伴就直奔表演厅，身上的'一腔热血还未展示出来。换好服装，在台下默默等待。在前一个节目一演完，主持人上台，这才到真正展示我们班风采的时候，每个人都超常发挥，真正地把自己融入到剧本中去。
躺躬、谢幕，我们完成了表演任务，不得不感慨：“台上一分钟，台下十年功。”此时的我又感觉全身舒畅与快活，完成这么一个表演实在欣慰不已。随后，我们一群人又秒变“吃瓜群众，看着台上其它班的精彩表演。
尤其是《Dream it Possible》—首歌令我独爱，虽说有破音的地方，但是整个场面的气势却掌握的很好，那清亮的歌使我们都禁不住随音乐挥舞起双手。再比如初一年级演的《后妈茶花会》，真的让我震撼，直接营造出了一种恐怖而又阴冷地氛围，尤其是说的台词，密集而又快速，不知付出了多大的努力？
英语节算是结束了，但却回味无穷，接下来我们就该集中精力复习，为期末考试做准备了！

But ,what I really decide to do is that I must make good of anytime I can spare though it seems impossible.

在我的记忆中，有过许多的比赛。例如：奥数比赛、语文比赛、作文比赛。可最让我难忘的还是那次英语演讲比赛。
记得四年级暑假的一天，我漫步在小区里。忽然，我发现小区的'报告亭上有一则广告，上面说我们小区里就要举行一场英语演讲比赛，有外国人过来听。地址：小区物业大厅内。看完之后，我犹豫不决：我到底去不去，如果去我英文不好，如果不去机会难得。
这时，我想起了妈妈的一句话：“不是所有的种子都必须要长成参天大树，但如果不努力，就不能破土而出，更不会长成参天大树。”于是，我径直走向了物业的大门，报了名。我回到家以后和妈妈说明了情况，妈妈二话不说，帮我到图文店里打印了资料，我拿起了资料，如饥似渴地读了起来，因为比赛的时候是要脱稿的，所以我一有时间就拿出来练习。
比赛那天，我面带微笑的对着一些外国人。我异常紧张，但又想：养兵千日用兵一时。我之前的努力不就是为了这一刻吗？我绝对不能在这个关节点上掉链子。于是，我发挥超常。但是我的对手都是大人，所以我的成绩一落千丈。
虽然这次我没有得到名次，但是它让我明白了一个道理：只有努力才是通向成功的捷径。

Soon her son and daughter came to the hospital. They thanked and praised me for my kindness by writing me a thank-you letter. Although I was late for school today, I felt very proud of what I had done.
