　　说起比赛,从小到大我参加过许多项目，其中让我印象最深刻的一次是四年级代表班参加英语说故事比赛,当时被老师选上的心情真是雀跃不已。

　　比赛的日子一天天的来临，每当妈妈要我多练习时,我总是漫不经心,认为短短三分钟的故事对我来说非常容易，根本不用花太多时间练习。直到预演时，站在讲台上结结巴巴、脑中一片空白时才知大事不妙。回家后，开始进行魔鬼般的训练，不论是洗澡、吃饭甚至走在路上，我的口中总是念念有词。直到比赛前一晚，我还希望明天发生超级强烈台风，这样就有多一天台风假的时间可以准备。但是,天不从人愿，比赛当天是个大晴天和我忐忑不安的心情正好相反。

　　比赛时,我抽到一号，连害怕的`时间都没有就要准备上场了，说也奇怪，不知哪来的神秘力量?我竟能朗朗上口，顺利的把故事说完。原以为两脚发抖、忘词的情节，竟然幸运的都没有发生在我身上。下台后,回到自己的座位上，专心聆听其他选手的表演，有的人紧张得四肢僵硬、脸色发白，有的人表演得生动活泼、令人不禁赞赏!公布名次的时刻终于来了，很侥倖的我得到第三名，真是兴奋极了!

　　有了这次的经验，不但让可以学习到其选手的优点，也深深体会到“胜利是留给有充分准备的人”。如果当时我没有下定决心急起直追、努力准备，也无法享受得到好成绩的喜悦!下次的比赛，得要及早准备,才不会临时抱佛脚，错失成功的机会!

　　好激动啊！明天就是英语比赛了！晚上我一直睡不着，一直在想那里漂不漂亮，评委好不好，我在那里一直在想。三个字：睡不着！

　　终于到了这一天英语口语大赛，我急忙起床，洗好脸，吃完饭，准备好东西出发，我在车上看了一路的风景，老师说：“一个小时就到了，请大家耐心坐车。”终于到达汽车站，我们排好队伍向比赛场地走去。一到比赛场地，我发现我们竟然是第一个到比赛地的学校！

　　好兴奋啊！老师抽了几个牌子，我是50号所以我比较慢才轮到，前面几个同学回来告诉我：“哇，那个加拿大的`外教真好，对着我们一直微微地笑。”终于轮到我了，我用眼瞥了一眼外教，发现他总是笑咪咪的看着我。我想起来之前老师给我打气的话，瞬间就觉得不再紧张了，我的演讲顺顺利利就结束了。回来后，我很兴奋，一直在说外教和评委，我好开心地和同学玩起了游戏，等所有的同学比赛完了，大家才恋恋不舍的离开了比赛场地。后来，老师还带我们去三棵树公园，那里的风景美极了，绿树成荫，许多市民在那里游玩，散步、下棋。

　　回校的路上，我一直在想：这次比赛虽然结束了，但是今后更多的比赛正等待着我，我要时刻准备着，努力学习，锻炼好自己的本领，更重要的是我不会忘记常常开口说英语！

　　今天就是英语外研比赛的日子了，我被安排在下午2.30那场，老妈的单位离考场比较近，上午我便跟她去单位值班。

　　简单吃了点饭，老妈看我这副状态，她提议说，咱们提前溜达着去吧，就当散散步。

　　午后的街道有些冷清，看到不错的景致，老妈竟不忘给我拍张照片啥的，她可真有兴致。不觉中就来到了“宝睿国际未来小学”门口，我们是下午考生中来得最早的。

　　等了好久一些家长才陪着孩子到来，有接待老师把我们安排在家长等候区，并给选手们讲了些注意事项，接着老师又读了考场名单，我被安排在第三考场。

　　这是初赛，演讲的内容是自我介绍加才艺表演。我看到有的选手准备得真棒!不光自己化了淡妆，还梳了很复杂很漂亮的辫子，有的还穿了美丽的裙子。有不少同学手里拿了画板，上面是他们精心绘制的图画，他们边指着自己的画边小声念着英语，看来他们的才艺表演一定是用英语介绍自己的画了。而我的才艺显得多么的微不足道，我只打算读一首英文小诗。

　　上午考完的同学在群里发来信息，他们说很简单，评委主要看你的口语能力，觉得背不好的，也可以直接读，我终于有了一些安心。
