这周星期五，也就是二零一四年的三月七日。我参加了由cctv主办的英语风采大赛。其中，笔试部分真是太难了。
一进大厅便是人山人海、“赛”人如织。挤都挤不过来。所以逼得我没办法，只好用参赛证和铅笔袋护着头，硬撞进去。好不容易排上队了，又被别人踩了好几脚，哎~我真倒霉啊！“啊！”我心想，“我得仔细听着工作人员有没有点到我的名字才行。”于是，我竖起耳朵仔细的听着。忽然我好像是听到自己的.名字了，便急急忙忙挤了过去，到了前面，“哦，你就是高明睿。请抽签吧！”我随便从箱子里抽了一个号码牌，“二十二号！”我先是一愣，继而是叹了一口气，“二十二号，挺靠后的。”
过了一会儿，一个工作人员把我们这二十几个人全都领到了二楼一个教室里面。一共有两张卷子，一张是对你的英语学习情况进行了解 ，比如：你读英语报纸吗？A、经常B、偶尔C、只读过一次D、从未读过。让你选择并在A、B、C、D前面打对号。接着又发了第二张试卷儿，太难了。第一、二题是听力部分。第一题是他说一个句子让你选A、Yes,heisB、Yes,sheisC、Yes,theyis.第二题是他说一个故事，让你选试卷上面写得是对还是错。我们让工作人员放了五遍都没怎么听懂。
过了一会儿，我们把笔试做完后，开始静静地背诵我们准备的故事。然后，工作人员觉得A1组已经结束了，就把我们五人一组五人一组的带下去进行才艺表演。当你背诵完后（如果你还没背完就到时间了就会让你停住），外教就会给你提供一张照片并提问你一至三个问题，如果你答不上来，外教就会对你说：“thankyou.”

在一间书房里，时不时地会传出一句句英语句子。走近一看，我正坐在书桌前讲着一篇关于骆驼的英语故事，旁边则坐着严肃的妈妈，她时不时地给我纠正错误。这就是比赛前的我，一个将要尝试比赛的我。
经过几天的反复练习，我胸有成竹地来到了赛场准备比赛。
只见一个女孩大大方方地走上舞台，开始自我介绍。随后流利地讲起了准备的英语故事。她讲得眉飞色舞，绘声绘色。评委老师听得如痴如醉，仿佛自己也进入了她的故事。这无疑是给了我们后面的选手来了个下马威。我紧张的心情如起伏的波浪，一下子又一下地拍打着满载信心和希望的小船，我的心都快蹦出来了。这时，一个熟悉的声音在我耳边回荡：“不要气妥，不要紧张，主要你努力了，成功一定会紧紧地拉住你的手。”我的心渐渐平静下来，但还是会有抑制不住的紧张。
轮到我上场了，我怀着忐忑不安地走上了舞台。我先深深地吸了一口气，开始做起了自我介绍，但可以清晰的听出，我的声音有点微微的颤抖。讲着讲着，我仿佛看见了优质骆驼在沙漠上行走，在绿洲里吃草。接二连三的画面出现在了我的`眼前。我的心平静了下来，声音不再颤抖，人也变得大方起来了，还加上了动作和感情。当我讲完了最后一句话，又说了结束语之后，我不禁长长地吁了一口气。当我往台下看时，评委老师向我投来了赞许的目光，嘴上露出了甜甜的微笑。
晚上回到家，发现妈妈比以往都要高兴，我很奇怪。妈妈告诉我了我一个好消息：“集团，你的英语故事比赛得了全年段第一名！”我听了这个消息，高兴得差点跳了起来，这可真是一个令我振奋的好消息啊！
是啊！只要敢于尝试和努力，成功的小船一定是驶向你的！

在比赛的路途中，我们出了一点小插曲：当上了城西干道高架桥时，城西干道上竟然堵车了，车子一动不动，就像一件摆设。我看了一下表，猛地一惊，已经3:45分了，在这样堵下去，我就要迟到了。这可怎么办？我焦急万分。我想到了爱情公寓这部电视剧里的场景，主人公曾小贤被堵在中环路上进退两难，我现在也是这样，最后，我们终于慢慢的移动到了堵车的源头，终于又走上了好走的路。
·到了考试地点致远外国语小学了，此时，我的心非常的'紧张。虽然我已经会背了我的演讲稿，也会唱那一首歌，可是我还是觉得很紧张。这时，老师喊到了我，我平复自己的心情，和妈妈一起走进了考场。在考试中，我虽然有些紧张，但努力的大声演讲，我认为讲的非常的不错。可是在最后的时候出了点意外，在老师说："thank you."的时候，我给老师鞠了一躬，就慌慌忙忙的走出了考场，老妈对我说，你也应该讲一下thank you，我觉得这是我的一个失误。

这时，我想起了妈妈的一句话：“不是所有的种子都必须要长成参天大树，但如果不努力，就不能破土而出，更不会长成参天大树。”于是，我径直走向了物业的大门，报了名。我回到家以后和妈妈说明了情况，妈妈二话不说，帮我到图文店里打印了资料，我拿起了资料，如饥似渴地读了起来，因为比赛的时候是要脱稿的，所以我一有时间就拿出来练习。
比赛那天，我面带微笑的对着一些外国人。我异常紧张，但又想：养兵千日用兵一时。我之前的`努力不就是为了这一刻吗？我绝对不能在这个关节点上掉链子。于是，我发挥超常。但是我的对手都是大人，所以我的成绩一落千丈。
虽然这次我没有得到名次，但是它让我明白了一个道理：只有努力才是通向成功的捷径。
