　　Lantern Festival is a China's traditional festival. It is celebrated on the fifteenth day of the first month of the lunar year.

　　I,antern Festival is one of the biggest holidays in China. Several days before Lantern Festival, people begin to make lanterns. Lanterns are made in the shape of different animals, vegetables, fruits and many, other things. While making lanterns people usually write riddles on lanterns.

　　On the eve of Lantern Festival, all the lanterns are hung up.

　　On Lantern Festival people go outside to have a look at the lanterns and guess the riddles on the lanterns. Perhaps you call see some wonderful folk performances,Dragon Dance and Yangko. Everything is very interesting and everyone is very happy.

　　Some regard it a precious opportunity for the Chinese to learn more about western cultures. On the other hand, more and more Chinese people view it oppositely. Since more and more young people have lost their interest in our traditional festivals, such as Mid-autumn Festival, Dragon-boat Festival, and even Spring Festival. They seem to be more willing to celebrate Christmas.

　　In my opinion, every coin has two sides. Since the globalization is impossible to avoid this mix of cultures and traditions. We should preserve the traditional Chinese culture as well as welcome Western ones. 　　My dog will be dead. She is very old. We have kept her for ten years. Now her hairs are falling. And she always lies on the ground. She can’t see very clearly. She eats a little. She becomes thin. Even if it is a dog, you can’t forget it. So these days, we feet her the best food.

　　The clock struck eleven at night. The whole house was quiet. Everyone was in bed except me. Under the strong light, I looked gloomily before me at a huge pile of that disgusting stuff they call“books”.

　　I was going to have my examination the next day. “Whencan I go to bed ” I asked myself. I did not answer. In fact I dared not.

　　the influence of such a social phenomenon should be carefully studied. in my opinion, the wide spread and recognition of western holidays will definitely harm our traditional value. if we don’t take some measure, in years to come, chinese cultural heritage may be alien to our offspring. it’s high time that the government took some action.
