　　此次比赛本着“人人参与”的原则，在初中三个年级中进行。以《My holidy》（我的假期）为题，学生们现场发挥，在30分钟的时间内写出一篇100词作文。比赛过程中，参赛选手胸有成竹，屏气凝神，严格遵守比赛规则，表现出优秀的参赛风格。全部同学在规定时间内完成，甚至有几位同学提前做完，显示出同学们对英语的有效掌握。学生作文水平虽显稚嫩，但从单词、句子的运用，到语法篇章的安排，都显示出了英语教学有了明显的进步，这是同学们勤学英语的结果，也是每位实践队员辛勤教学的.结果。最终，赵芳同学脱颖而出荣获一等奖，刘涵、赵紫、赵伟等分获二、三等奖，队员们为其颁发奖状、奖品，以资鼓励。赛后，实践团将同学们的作品在橱窗中展示，以供大家交流学习。同学们表示今后一定再接再厉，学好英语。队员们鼓励大家在日常生活中也要勤学勤用，在实践中探索英语的奥秘。

　　最近，我很忙碌。

　　为什么？因为我被肖老师推荐参加一个英语短剧的演出。我因此而忙碌着。这个英语短剧是要参加下关区比赛的，能加入其中是很大的荣幸。如果不是肖老师，我根本没有机会，所以我非常感谢肖老师。

　　我的角色是“旁白”。不要小看这个角色哦，在整部剧中还是很重要的。

　　每天放学后，我都要去多媒体教室排练。也许是我的英语没有汪天昊好，也许是我不了解该怎样说好旁白，我常常被miss腾和miss姚纠正单词的读音和音调；而且因为紧张，我几乎只是机械地背诵而不是富含感情地朗诵。

　　我很害怕，这样下去会有什么不好的结果。

　　终于，危机真的降临。老师发出了最后通牒：如果再不能让所有的老师满意，我就要被换掉！听到这个消息，我的.“金豆子”吧嗒吧嗒地滴落下来，伤心、难受还有对自己的失望，充满我的心中。可是哭，又有什么用？我擦掉眼泪，望着随风舞动的小草，笑着对自己说：加油，相信自己！

　　报上名后我才知道，全市有二千多人参加这次比赛，选拔赛后只有500个晋级名额，一听到这个消息，我马上像泄了气的皮球，没有信心了。那天晚上，轮到我上场了，我从容地走上台，勉强把稿子背了一遍，下台后才发现嘴里竟还含着口香糖呢！没想到公布成绩时我竟然也晋级了！真让我又惊讶又高兴！

　　复赛时，我的分数不是很高，但还是顺利晋级。这下我忽然担心起来，生怕决赛时被刷下来了。回家后，我又把稿子重新修改了一遍，把每个单词、每个句子都反复朗读，做到精确无误，还用心设计了每一个动作。我信心满满地走上台，一开口，评委的脸上就露出了笑容，我流畅地做着自我介绍、演讲、才艺展示。我们五个人都讲完了，评委进行了认真的点评，最后公布成绩——— 我取得了我们组的.最高分！这一次又顺利晋级了！我高兴得心花怒放，合不拢嘴。妈妈也高兴地抱着我亲了又亲。

　　在我的记忆中，有过许多的比赛。例如：奥数比赛、语文比赛、作文比赛。可最让我难忘的还是那次英语演讲比赛。

　　记得四年级暑假的'一天，我漫步在小区里。忽然，我发现小区的报告亭上有一则广告，上面说我们小区里就要举行一场英语演讲比赛，有外国人过来听。地址：小区物业大厅内。看完之后，我犹豫不决：我到底去不去，如果去我英文不好，如果不去机会难得。

　　这时，我想起了妈妈的一句话：“不是所有的种子都必须要长成参天大树，但如果不努力，就不能破土而出，更不会长成参天大树。”于是，我径直走向了物业的大门，报了名。我回到家以后和妈妈说明了情况，妈妈二话不说，帮我到图文店里打印了资料，我拿起了资料，如饥似渴地读了起来，因为比赛的时候是要脱稿的，所以我一有时间就拿出来练习。

　　比赛那天，我面带微笑的对着一些外国人。我异常紧张，但又想：养兵千日用兵一时。我之前的努力不就是为了这一刻吗？我绝对不能在这个关节点上掉链子。于是，我发挥超常。但是我的对手都是大人，所以我的成绩一落千丈。

　　虽然这次我没有得到名次，但是它让我明白了一个道理：只有努力才是通向成功的捷径。
