　　当老师宣布要我参加英语朗读比赛时，我就决定要全力拼一拼，争取最好的成绩，让大家以我为荣。

　　拿到稿子的时候，离比赛没几天了，妈妈和老师天天陪着我练习，我也努力一读再读，背得滚瓜烂熟，应该是没有问题了吧？

　　哪里知道比赛的前一天晚上，我却紧张的`睡不着觉，再床上翻来覆去的，直到清晨四点才迷迷糊糊的睡去。

　　到学校的时候，我一点精神也没有，全身软绵绵的，晕头转向的，这样能比赛吗？谁知道一听到比赛的钟声响起，我一下子充满了精力，精神奕奕的上场了。

　　这次比赛的对手，一个比一个强。我努力的把平日练习的成果，自然的展现了出来。

　　果然不出老师所料，我真的拿到了第一名，我大大的松了一口气。得到第一名的感觉实在太棒了，我的一切努力都得到了回报。

　　It was a fine day that day. All the students of grade two gathered in the playground to watch the game.

　　最精彩的要数接力赛了，哨声一响，同学们像箭一样冲出去，奔跑在各自的赛道上，生怕自己落后。我是第三棒的`队员，在我上场之前，心情很紧张，我握紧拳头，暗暗给自己鼓劲。在同学们的努力下，我们班取得了年级第二名的好成绩。虽然没有得到第一名，但我们还是很开心、很快乐。老师说：“你们努力拼搏，付出了汗水，你们就是最可爱的孩子。”

Before I went on stage, I was very nervous. I clenched my fist and encouraged myself. With the efforts of the students, our class got the second place in the grade. 　　这周星期五，也就是二零一四年的三月七日。我参加了由cctv主办的英语风采大赛。其中，笔试部分真是太难了。

　　一进大厅便是人山人海、“赛”人如织。挤都挤不过来。所以逼得我没办法，只好用参赛证和铅笔袋护着头，硬撞进去。好不容易排上队了，又被别人踩了好几脚，哎~我真倒霉啊！“啊！”我心想，“我得仔细听着工作人员有没有点到我的名字才行。”于是，我竖起耳朵仔细的听着。忽然我好像是听到自己的名字了，便急急忙忙挤了过去，到了前面，“哦，你就是高明睿。请抽签吧！”我随便从箱子里抽了一个号码牌，“二十二号！”我先是一愣，继而是叹了一口气，“二十二号，挺靠后的'。”

　　过了一会儿，一个工作人员把我们这二十几个人全都领到了二楼一个教室里面。一共有两张卷子，一张是对你的英语学习情况进行了解，比如：你读英语报纸吗？A、经常B、偶尔C、只读过一次D、从未读过。让你选择并在A、B、C、D前面打对号。接着又发了第二张试卷儿，太难了。第一、二题是听力部分。第一题是他说一个句子让你选A、Yes,heisB、Yes,sheisC、Yes,theyis.第二题是他说一个故事，让你选试卷上面写得是对还是错。我们让工作人员放了五遍都没怎么听懂。

　　过了一会儿，我们把笔试做完后，开始静静地背诵我们准备的故事。然后，工作人员觉得A1组已经结束了，就把我们五人一组五人一组的带下去进行才艺表演。当你背诵完后（如果你还没背完就到时间了就会让你停住），外教就会给你提供一张照片并提问你一至三个问题，如果你答不上来，外教就会对你说：“thankyou.”

　　by seven-thirty the seats were almost filled. the school band was there; they wore yellow and black uniforms. they started to play at about a quarter to eight. everybody stood up, and the people sang. the game was about to start. two teams ran out to the floor. the referee blew his whistle, and the game started. a basketball game is divided into two halves, and each half is divided into two quarters. there is a rest period between the halves. during the first five minutes of the second half, the score was tied. from then on, the game was very exciting. first one team made a basket, then the other. the people cheered, and everybody was wondering which team was going to win.

　　the ball hit the rim of the basket and seemed to hang there for a moment, and then it fell through the basket. the whistle blew and the game was over. home team won, 70 to 68.
