　　昨天，我去参加英语歌谣大赛，我很高兴。我是53号上场的，我的头上戴了一个兔耳朵，很像一个小兔子，我的表情很好，可是我的`心里很紧张，我表演呀表演，终于表演完了，我给大家用英语说了声再见，然后就走了，到了最后，老师宣布了成绩。

　　我得了二等奖，我很失落，因为我想我的表演没有得一等奖，这下我得要好好复习英语，要像这次英语歌谣大赛得一等奖的同学学习，如果下次再有机会的话，我一定会积极参加，争取得上一等奖。

　　Before the contest, Fangfang thought her English was the best. So shespent lots of time picking some beautiful clothes for herself instead of trying to work hard at English for the contest. As a result, she didnt do well in the contest because she hadnt got ready for the contest.

　　But Mingming was different from Fangfang. He worked hard at Englishand asked others for help. Especially, his leg was hurt two days before the contest, but he never gave up. In the end, he won the contest.

　　为提高孩子们英语水平，检验近期英语学习情况，进一步培养学生的英语综合运用能力，营造英语文化氛围，7月28日，山东理工大学“红色之旅”实践团于菏泽市牡丹区赵楼社区支教基地举行英语作文比赛。

　　此次比赛本着“人人参与”的原则，在初中三个年级中进行。以《My holidy》（我的假期）为题，学生们现场发挥，在30分钟的时间内写出一篇100词作文。比赛过程中，参赛选手胸有成竹，屏气凝神，严格遵守比赛规则，表现出优秀的参赛风格。全部同学在规定时间内完成，甚至有几位同学提前做完，显示出同学们对英语的有效掌握。学生作文水平虽显稚嫩，但从单词、句子的运用，到语法篇章的安排，都显示出了英语教学有了明显的进步，这是同学们勤学英语的结果，也是每位实践队员辛勤教学的.结果。最终，赵芳同学脱颖而出荣获一等奖，刘涵、赵紫、赵伟等分获二、三等奖，队员们为其颁发奖状、奖品，以资鼓励。赛后，实践团将同学们的作品在橱窗中展示，以供大家交流学习。同学们表示今后一定再接再厉，学好英语。队员们鼓励大家在日常生活中也要勤学勤用，在实践中探索英语的奥秘。

　　I swim three times a week. Most often I swim in my school. I feel very happy when I swim in school with my friends. I often go to swim with my good friend Lily. She likes swimming,too. 　　The contest,whose aim was to let more people know the bad environmental conditions we are facing and the urgency of protecting it,was hosted by the Environmental Protection Burua.Fifty top contestants from twenty schools throughout the city took part.All of them were required to answer the questions in English in ten minutes.In order to prepare for it,I went through a very hard time.

　　When I was chosen to attend the competition,I felt nervous first,for my English was not good.But after a deep thinking,I made a decision that I should go for it.That's a very good opportunity for me to improve my English,as well as know more about the environmental protection which is of great importance to us human beings.I began to learn English very hard,paying much attention to the knowledge of environmental protection,such as using environmentally friendly bags instead of plastic ones,saving water and electricity and taking a bus and underground when going out.That's hard work,but I enjoyed it.

　　The exciting time came at last.On the morning of July 27th,20xx,thousands of people crowded at the Youth Culture Palace,watching the contest.Now it was my turn to perform.I was a little nervous at first.I tried to calm down.Soon I was OK.I answered the questions one after another,no mistakes occurring.Ten minutes passed by,I went back to my seat,smiles on my face.I did a good job.

At first, they were competing happily, but as the game came to the end, the last group was so worried. The father inspired his kid to stick on and finish the match, while the kid was crying because he knew he must be the last. After the match, the father told his kid that winning was not the most important thing for the match, the first thing was to enjoy the game and finish it, the result was not that important.

　　I agree with the father, the child must be endowed with the consciousness that to enjoy the game is more important than to win. Every match can only have one win, but we can enjoy every match.
