　　一个画家挂在墙上他或她完成的图片，每个人都可以看到它。作曲家写完了一部作品，但没有人可以听到它，直到它被执行。专业歌手和球员有很大的责任，因为作曲家是完全依赖于他们。一名学音乐的学生需要长期的，艰苦的.训练，成为一名演员，就象一名医科的学生要成为一名医生。绝大多数的训练是技巧性的音乐家们有一个运动员或芭蕾舞演员肌肉的能力。歌手们每天都练习呼吸他们的声带，将有效地控制肌肉的不足。弦乐演奏实践中移动是在左手的手指上下，同时提请弓并用右手，两个截然不同的动作来回。
