　　今天晚上，霄霄哥哥一进家门就提议道：“我们举行一场英语比赛吧！”我和洋洋哥哥也不甘落后，异口同声的说：“比就比。”

　　妈妈为我们设定了比赛规则：比赛分为笔试和口试。第一名三元钱，第二名二元钱，第三名一元钱。霄霄哥哥兴致高涨，迫不及待地想看看题目。我胸有成竹地坐在沙发上看书。洋洋哥哥听了心里直打鼓。比赛开始了，霄霄哥哥侧着身子，把“卷子”放在桌子底下，以免被洋洋哥哥偷看。洋洋哥哥在一旁抓耳挠腮，眼睛不时地瞟一眼霄霄的.“卷子”。我躲在一个房间里飞快的做完了自己的题目。我忐忑不安地拿给妈妈改分，心像小兔子一样“碰碰”直跳。我的分数出来了，是九十五分，这是因为粗心的我把Tuesday写成Tuseday了。虽然如此，我还是松了口气。因为两个哥哥成绩都没我好。口试的时候所有的题目都很简单，大家全得了满分。于是我得了第一名。我高兴得眉开眼笑，身体里的“小白兔”好像也在为我高兴呢！

　　啊！这真是一场充满紧张和快乐的英语比赛。

　　足球是世界上最流行的球类运动。现在越来越多韵人喜欢看足球比赛，当他们的球队参加比赛的时候，他们可以废寝忘食地为他们的队员加油。我认为自从中国足协建立以来，许多中国足球的比赛踢得一场比一场好了。但是我们的'足球要冲出亚洲、奔向世界还有很长的路要走。我们应该向国外的球队学习，邀请一些外国的运动员和教练到我们中间来。大连万达、上海申花、广东太阳神都是最出色的球队。

　　When their favorite teams win, they will give them three cheers. When they fail,they feel sad. We all hope our national team will be the strongest one in the world.

　　There are so many sports we can play these days, but among them, I like to play basketball best. I learnt to play it when I was 11 years old.

　　Playing basketball can bring me some good friends, they have something in common with me, they always ask me to play it with them; And we can always share our skills together. We learnt what teamwork is from playing basketball. Sometimes we watch NBA games together, my favourite NBA star is Yao Ming, he is very modest, too.

　　We usually play basketball after school and on the weekends as well. I feel very happy when I pass my ball to my pals. We always cheer when we win the games.

　　T:Welcome to the final of the 5th English speaking contest of Jianghan University. L : 本次大赛由江汉大学读者协会举办，从三月初到现在，经过层层筛选，八位选手从数百名选手中脱颖而出，来到我们决赛现场。

　　T : This contest is organized by the Readers Association of Jianghan University. 8 prominent contestants have distinguished themselves in the preliminary and intermediate contests.

　　G : 在此，我想说的是，你们每一位参赛选手都是优秀的，一路走来，还能够留在今天的舞台上更是了不起的，希望你们八位再接再厉，再创佳绩，同时给在场的各位带来一场更为精采感官性的'饕餮大餐。

　　四、宣布比赛环节和评分细则

　　Now I would like to introduce the rules for the contest

　　Today's competition has two phases: The first phase is a 5 minutes’ speech show, which composes 60% of the score. In this part, the contestants are supposed to make a 3 minutes’ impromptu speech according to the topics , and then they will answer the questions raised by our judges, and the time limit is 2 minutes.

　　And the second phase is the role play of each contestant, which takes 40% of the final score. Every one of them will be given 5 minutes to display their role they selected beforehand.

　　After the performance by the contestants, our judges will give fair judgment according to the comprehensive performance of each contestant. We will have one champion, two second prizes winners, three third prize and the rest contestants will get the Excellence Award. I wish all of them achieve a lot, and have good luck.
