　　同学们，你们喜欢学英语吗？今天我给你讲一个我学英语的故事吧！

　　上个星期六，我去参加英语学习班。到了那里，老师说：“今天是复习课，我们进行一次比赛好吗？”一听说要比赛，同学们顿时高兴地欢呼雀跃。老师接着宣布比赛规则：“比赛分两个组，两个环节，一个环节是必答题，一个环节是抢答题，我们先进行必答题，答对了加一分，答错了不扣分。”紧接着老师出了第一道题：“我可以邀请一些朋友来参加我的生日聚会吗？（汉译英）”。我们组的段鉴书同学站起来不慌不忙的用英语翻译了出来，老师二话没说就在黑板上加了一分，然后老师又让二组的同学回答！大部分同学都对答如流。这时，轮到我们组吴号同学了，老师出了一道题：“Shall we change to slippers？（英译汉）”。吴号一下想不起来了，急的抓耳挠腮，不知所措。我们组的同学急得像热锅上的蚂蚁，可二组的同学却恰恰相反，高兴的'手舞足蹈，忽然我灵机一动，想出了一个办法提醒他，指了指脚，意思是说：我们还需要换拖鞋吗？可是他想不起来，忽然，他的脸上露出了笑容说：“我们可以换拖鞋吗？”老师说：“是需要，不是可以，就算你对吧！”

　　我们这才松了一口气。

　　必答题答完了，他们比我们多得两分，抢答题又开始了，抢答题的规则是：答对了加两分，答错了减两分，同学们都争先恐后的举起了手，没被叫起回答问题的同学都唉声叹气，比赛在激烈进行着。这时我给我的组赢了两分，同学们都欢呼雀跃，比赛结束了，二组的同学赢了！他们都高兴的说了声：“耶！”

　　虽然我们没拿冠军，但是这种学习方式却极大的激发了我们学英语的兴趣。

　　The game was scheduled to start at start at eight o’clock on Friday night. Long before that, people began to arrive at the gymnasium. By seven-thirty the seats were almost filled.

　　The school band was there; they wore yellow and black uniforms. They started to play at about a quarter to eight. Everybody stood up, and the people sang. The game was about to start.

　　Two teams ran out to the floor. The referee blew his whistle, and the game started. A basketball game is divided into two halves, and each half is divided into two quarters. There is a rest period between the halves.

　　During the first five minutes of the second half, the score was tied. From then on, the game was very exciting. First one team made a basket, then the other.

　　The people cheered, and everybody was wondering which team was going to win. The ball hit the rim of the basket and seemed to hang there for a moment, and then it fell through the basket. The whistle blew and the game was over. Home team won, 70 to 68.

　　中午，我迅速吃完饭，和同学们一起去老师的办公室化妆。1：30我们乘坐大巴士出发了，我有一丝紧张，但又有一丝兴奋。终于到南化四小了，我们先到会议室准备。到我们了，我们走进比赛场地，不知怎么了，我突然有一句台词忘记了，刚准备问刘安桐，可就在这时，音乐却响起来了。怎么办，这次英语话剧可是由储老师和王老师排练了一个月的啊！不能因为我一个人……此时我的`是心情十分焦急，眼看就要到那一句了，我站在台上仿佛马上就要晕倒一样，我多么希望时间能停留下来，让我重新看看稿子……What about you，Kate？到我了，台下所有人都看着我，不知怎么了，我又行云流水地把那句话说了出来。此时，我的心情如吃了槐花蜜一样香甜，心里的那块大石头终于放了下来，我的好心情又回来了！表演完了，台下的掌声经久不息。那天，站在台上，我笑得十分灿烂！

Before I went on stage, I was very nervous. I clenched my fist and encouraged myself. With the efforts of the students, our class got the second place in the grade. Although we didn't get the first place, we were still very happy. The teacher said: "you work hard and sweat, you are the most lovely child."
