　　一想到我当上了英语班长，就高兴得合不拢嘴。

　　那一天，英语老师要选班长，我心里七上八下的，特别紧张，不知道能不能选上，只听旁边一个同学说道：“我选李腾耀，你选谁了？”他的同桌郑凯元说：“别选他，他学习不好。”那个同学说：“这些天他进步很大，老师常表扬他呢！我就选他了。”我被深深的感动了。

　　老师让董晨光和田家宝去唱票，“李腾耀、李腾耀·····”我的票数慢慢地增加，我的心里仍然十分紧张，因为李哲阳的票数也不少。最后老师说：“李腾耀票数最多。”我简直不敢相信自己的耳朵。老师又说：“李腾耀，请到讲台上来。”我飞快地跑到了讲台上，这时全班同学向我投来羡慕的.目光，老师说：“李腾耀当班长。”台下响起了一阵热烈的掌声。

　　我想，我不但要好好学习，还要帮助同学，不辜负同学们对我的信任，做一个合格的班长。
