　　My New Teacher

　　The new semester has begun. Every thing seems the same as before, except one thing. That is our class has a new English teacher. His name is Yang yang, but we always call his English name, Robert. He is a young and sunshine. He just graduated from university. His pronunciation is very good and I like his spoken English. Robert is humorous and his class is interesting and lively. Except for the textbook, he finds many other articles for class teaching, such as songs, movies and cartoons. He says that we can learn more from what we are interested in. I like this new teacher.

　　新学期已经开始了。除了一件事以外，每一件事看起来都和原来一样。那就是我们班来了个新的英语老师。他的名字叫杨阳，但是我们经常叫他的英文名Robert。他年轻阳光，刚刚从大学毕业。他的发音很标准初中英语，我很喜欢他的口语。Robert很幽默，他的.课堂生动有趣。除开课本，他还找了很多文章进行课堂教学，比如歌曲，电影和卡通。他说我们可以从我们感兴趣的东西学到更多。我喜欢这位新老师。

　　老师像一位辛勤的园丁，助我们在阳光下成长；老师像一盏明灯，照亮了我们前方的道路；老师更像一根细小的火柴，用自己的火光点燃了我们心中的蜡烛。

　　让我记忆深刻的是教了我们两年的英语老师。

　　老师并不算高。一米五七左右的个字，喜欢穿裙子，时常带着她的尺子来给我们上课。

　　老师的尺子更是让我深有感触，那是一把30厘米左右的铁尺，尺子上的刻度已经磨掉了不少，尺子上凹凸不平，一看就是有些年头的.了。尺子的用处更是多样：用来点屏幕上的句子，单词，用来画线，还用来“警告”那些分心的同学。一次，我上课时分了神，发起了呆，正当我入迷时，只见我眼前突然闪过了一道银光，我吓了一跳，等我回过神来，我仔细一看，原来是老师的尺子，我顺着尺子往上看，我看见英语老师板着脸站在那里，手用尺子在我桌子上点两三下，尺子与桌子碰撞发出的“砰砰”声如炸雷一般在我耳边响起，我立马提了提神，看向书本，读起了书。虽然老师没有跟我说一句话，但她尺子和神情却深深震撼了我，从那以后，我上英语课再也没有发过呆……

　　老师的教学属于脚踏实地那种类型，书本里的重点难点，该抄的，该默的，该读的，该背的，一个都跑不掉。也许你会说老师太严厉了吧，那你就大错特错了，每到考试时，就会明白当初抄的是有用的，没有浪费！虽然有时口头上会抱怨太多，但又明白，今天的辛苦是为了以后可以不那么辛苦。

　　My English Teacher Our English teacher Mr. Wang is a strongly built thirty-year-old man who is often simply dressed. He has been teaching us English ever since he graduated from the English Department Beijing Normal University in 1993. He devotes all his time and energy to teaching often working late into the night preparing his lessons. He is capable of making his lessons lively and interesting and all of us like his lessons. He is very strict with us but he shows us great concern. He offers us help whenever we need it. We all consider him not only as our good teacher but also as our close friend. We all respect and love him.
