　　十二月二十二号，我和五个同学一起来到四眼碶中学参加英语比赛。

　　我们是第三个表演，原本非常自信，可看了前两个表演后，顿时，成了一个个泄了气的气球。就说第二个表演吧，他们演的是英文的“三打白骨精”。内容很多，也非常幽默，原本书中写的是悟空外出时，唐僧等人在原地休息，而表演的的同学们却改编成了在原地打扑克。这让全场的评委老师和同学都笑了起来。我们也哈哈大笑。不一会儿就到我们了。

　　我们径直走上舞台，快速布置起来。布置完背景后，我按照自己的稿子认真地念了起来。在警察出场时，闹了一个小笑话。我的旁白还没有念完时，警察就出来了。这也注定了我们的分数会下降。表演完了后，我们下场欣赏别的`同学的表演了。

　　我看了接下来的表演，有的表演《狐狸偷肉》，有人表演《小红帽》，还有人表演《狐假虎威》等经典的故事，我觉得我们最多只能拿最后一名，所以在心里下定了决心要好好学习英语，成为英语小能手。

　　比赛虽然结束了，但我一定要好好学英语。

　　拿到稿子的时候，离比赛没几天了，妈妈和老师天天陪着我练习，我也努力一读再读，背得滚瓜烂熟，应该是没有问题了吧？

　　哪里知道比赛的前一天晚上，我却紧张的`睡不着觉，再床上翻来覆去的，直到清晨四点才迷迷糊糊的睡去。

　　到学校的时候，我一点精神也没有，全身软绵绵的，晕头转向的，这样能比赛吗？谁知道一听到比赛的钟声响起，我一下子充满了精力，精神奕奕的上场了。

　　这次比赛的对手，一个比一个强。我努力的把平日练习的成果，自然的展现了出来。

　　果然不出老师所料，我真的拿到了第一名，我大大的松了一口气。得到第一名的感觉实在太棒了，我的一切努力都得到了回报。

　　Modern clothes are definitely more practical as against traditional clothes.Almost all people now wear modern clothes.Nowadays even more and more people wear casual clothes.Jeans are everywhere except at formal parties.T-shirts are common,too.They look comfortable and fashionable.However,there are also a lot of people who take the trouble to dress well in formal clothes like shirts,trousers and suits.I find them smart,too.

　　But then,it is important to hold on to our topic.In my opinion,each type of dress has its place.Modern clothes are ideal for most situations,while casual clothes are worn more freely.As to traditional clothes,they must be worn for special occasions

We found a place can see the match clearly hardly. The participatesat on the boat look like dragon. When the signal to start set, everyone on theboat tried their best to make the boat forward.
