　　上个月，希望之星昂立英语大赛报名了！我兴奋不已，立刻报上名，拿到了一个名额。

　　报上名后我才知道，全市有二千多人参加这次比赛，选拔赛后只有500个晋级名额，一听到这个消息，我马上像泄了气的皮球，没有信心了。那天晚上，轮到我上场了，我从容地走上台，勉强把稿子背了一遍，下台后才发现嘴里竟还含着口香糖呢！没想到公布成绩时我竟然也晋级了！真让我又惊讶又高兴！

　　复赛时，我的分数不是很高，但还是顺利晋级。这下我忽然担心起来，生怕决赛时被刷下来了。回家后，我又把稿子重新修改了一遍，把每个单词、每个句子都反复朗读，做到精确无误，还用心设计了每一个动作。我信心满满地走上台，一开口，评委的.脸上就露出了笑容，我流畅地做着自我介绍、演讲、才艺展示。我们五个人都讲完了，评委进行了认真的点评，最后公布成绩——— 我取得了我们组的最高分！这一次又顺利晋级了！我高兴得心花怒放，合不拢嘴。妈妈也高兴地抱着我亲了又亲。

　　经过几天的反复练习，我胸有成竹地来到了赛场准备比赛。

　　只见一个女孩大大方方地走上舞台，开始自我介绍。随后流利地讲起了准备的英语故事。她讲得眉飞色舞，绘声绘色。评委老师听得如痴如醉，仿佛自己也进入了她的故事。这无疑是给了我们后面的选手来了个下马威。我紧张的心情如起伏的.波浪，一下子又一下地拍打着满载信心和希望的小船，我的心都快蹦出来了。这时，一个熟悉的声音在我耳边回荡：“不要气妥，不要紧张，主要你努力了，成功一定会紧紧地拉住你的手。”我的心渐渐平静下来，但还是会有抑制不住的紧张。

　　轮到我上场了，我怀着忐忑不安地走上了舞台。我先深深地吸了一口气，开始做起了自我介绍，但可以清晰的听出，我的声音有点微微的颤抖。讲着讲着，我仿佛看见了优质骆驼在沙漠上行走，在绿洲里吃草。接二连三的画面出现在了我的眼前。我的心平静了下来，声音不再颤抖，人也变得大方起来了，还加上了动作和感情。当我讲完了最后一句话，又说了结束语之后，我不禁长长地吁了一口气。当我往台下看时，评委老师向我投来了赞许的目光，嘴上露出了甜甜的微笑。

　　晚上回到家，发现妈妈比以往都要高兴，我很奇怪。妈妈告诉我了我一个好消息：“集团，你的英语故事比赛得了全年段第一名！”我听了这个消息，高兴得差点跳了起来，这可真是一个令我振奋的好消息啊！
