　　my aunt edith was a widow of 50, working as a secretary, when doctors discovered what was then thought to be a very serious heart ailment.aunt edith doesn accept defeat easily. she began studying medical reports in the library and found an article in a magazine about a well-known heart surgeon, dr. michael debakey, of houston, teas. he had saved the life of someone with the same ailment. the article said dr. debakey fees were very high; aunt edith couldn possibly pay them. but could he tell her of someone whose fee she could pay?

In my point of view, I think advertisement is a disaster. Reasons are as follows.

　　First of all, most advertisements are full of fake information. Most manufacturers prefer to advertise their products;hence they will try to use exaggerated and even fake information to attract customers.

　　首先，广告包含太多的虚假信息。许多的商家都喜欢为自己的产品做广告，因此他们会选择一些夸大的`甚至虚假的信息去吸引顾客。

　　Secondly, advertisement can be annoying.When people are watching TV programs or listen to radios, if advertisement breaks in by midway, then people will get annoyed because ads make them forget what they are watching or listening.

　　第二，广告很烦人。当我们在看电视节目或者听广播的时候，中途被广告打断的话，我们通常会很烦躁，因为广告会让我们忘记之前看到或者听到的内容。

　　Thirdly, ads cheat on customers. For most customers, they would buy the products pasted in advertisement because they believe what the ads say. Since advertisements are usually dishonest, most customers will find themselves cheated after they buy the product in ads.

　　All in all, since advertisement is so annoying, full of fake information and cheat on customers, I don’t think advertisement is popular among us.

　　I lived in a small village before I was ten. Then my father found a job in a city near the country, so all my family moved to the city. Today I still clearly remember the time when I lived in that village.

　　My mother worked in a tea-making factory. It was very small, and only employed thirty workers. The factory building was divided into two parts. The first floor was larger, with lots of machines. The second floor included about ten rooms. Some were used as offices; the others were used as bedrooms for workers.

　　We lived in one of these rooms. Although it was very small, it was comfortable. We loved each other and lived happily. The room was always full of laughter.

　　There was a hill of bamboo near the building. This kind of plant is green and straight. Also it looks neat, especially after it rains.

　　In front of the building my mother built a vegetable garden. She grew plenty of vegetables and fruit there, such as cabbages, carrots, potatoes, watermelons, eggplants, and tomatoes. So we didnt need to buy vegetables from the market.

　　It is a long time since I left the village. That was really the most pleasant time in my life, because of the sunshine, the bamboo, the flowers and the people.

For another, some businessmen take advantage of the week long holidays and raise the priced of commodities and services.

　　Personally, I believe that it is necessary for people to have long vacations, but there is no need for them to have the vacations during the same period of time. 　　It was Saturday, just before May Day. My classmates and I went to the park nearby, we didnt go there for amusement but took part in voluntary labor.

　　We got there at 9:00. We were divided into three groups and then began working. The students in Group One planted trees and watered flowers. The task for Group Two was collecting the litter left about by tourists and cleaning the benches. The group I was in got to the Childrens Playground and wiped all the equipment clean. We worked very hard. At 11:00, when all the work was finished up, all my classmates met again. Although everyone was in a sweat, yet we felt happy because we had done good job.
