In Memory of Mr Cai
The news that Mr Cai had passed away was known, and I fell into great sorrow. The sound of the rain knocking on the window was so mournful① that it deepened my distress②.
My memory brought me back to the class when I saw him for the last time.
That evening it was raining, too. We started our lesson as usual at a quarter past six. I sat in the first row, and I saw Mr Cai press his stomach with a hand from time to time, but I didn＇t know the reason then. The two hours passed quickly. When the lesson came to an end,Mr Cai told us that he had possibly developed a stomach cancer, and would go to Beijing to see a doctor. If there was nothing serious, he would continue to teach us after he came back. He was very calm and his voice was steady③. He still gave us some homework. He said that he would mark the papers as soon as he came back.
Then I started to wait for his return. I had not thought that I would not see him any more. The cancer had taken his life, even though he was still young.
Mr Cai＇s words are still ringing in my ears,“I hope you will be one of the best students.” I think I should work hard at English and live up to his expectation ④.
I have lost a good teacher. Tears will dry up in time, but the memory will stay for ever.

我的英语老师是所有的老师中年纪最小的，可是她的教学任务是非常多的。我的英语老师长的非常漂亮。她的`眼睛像玻璃球一般大，十分有精神。在长长的睫毛的衬托下，跟显得楚楚动人。她的皮肤白里透出点微红，她那金黄色的头有时候披在肩上，有时候扎成蝎子头，显得天真可爱。英语老师微笑的时候，像鲜花一样温柔，像天仙一样美丽，像小姑娘一样可爱！她看起来是那样善良，温柔又美丽的活泼女孩。
英语老师不仅长得美，而且她的心更美更纯真。
在星期三上辅导的时候，英语老师听见我们班的好多人都在咳嗽。她就劝我们说：“你们宿舍的提电壶的女同学可以装些热水放在教室里。那些咳嗽的同学可以拿一个杯子放在教室，下课后倒水喝。
英语老师非常关爱我们。
在去年的的12月24日，我们上英语辅导的时候。英语老师神秘兮兮的提着一个红塑料袋来到教室里。我们都私下里窃窃私语。我们组也在讨论。张辰昭说：“有可能装着一些书吧。”王亚雯反驳道：“书应该占大面积，可是你看，塑料袋现在确实扁的。”赵泽林惊奇的问道：“那到底装的是什么呀？”我说：“我也不知道。老师一会打开了我们再看吧。”只剩5分钟就快下课了。英语老师把袋子打开了，给班长张宝康说：“你把……给发一下。”我听到不太清楚。只见张宝康提着袋子走到了我们组，放了七个小熊棒棒糖，我迫不及待的塞进嘴里吃起来。英语老师问我们：“你们知道今天是什么节日吗？”同学们都遥遥头。接着她又说：“今天是圣诞节前夜——平安夜。”本来平安夜是吃苹果的。我打算给你们买苹果，可是苹果很难带上来，所以我给你们买了棒棒糖，希望你们在新的一年里平平安安。
我们的英语老师还十分刻苦地向别人学习，她的课堂上，同学们都积极回答问题。在上学期，我的英语第一次考得太差了，第二次，第三次确进步很大。在英语老师的鼓励下，我的英语在一步步的地提高。

I am lucky to have met many good teachers who have their own characteristics. In my mind, a good teacher first should be rich in knowledge, especially in his or her own subject, which is the basic requirement to a good teacher. Secondly, a good teacher should be patient. As we all know that not all students can do well in study, so that it requires teachers to be patient enough to help the poor students. Finally, a good teacher should be creative and able to keep pace with the times. It means that our teachers should continually get new information and knowledge to enrich themselves.
