　　A typing match was held in my family this Sunday. Father was the first one to type. He typed so fast that he got a score of 29 characters a minute. Mother and sister got 21 and 25 respectively. Then it was my turn,I felt a bit nervous, for I wanted to outdo my father. Because my fingers are more flexible than my father＇s, I won the first prize by 30 characters a minute at last. It was really an interesting Sunday.

　　But Mingming was different from Fangfang. He worked hard at Englishand asked others for help. Especially, his leg was hurt two days before the contest, but he never gave up. In the end, he won the contest.

　　本次活动，六年级共有180名学生参加了比赛，50名同学进入了决赛，最后30名同学获奖。经过充分的赛前准备，在学校领导的大力支持下，英语研修组进行了精心的组织和安排，无论是从试题的.命制，还是监考，到最后的阅卷，总分，奖品的书写方面，各个工作人员都能够认真负责，使活动有条不紊得进行。可以说，这次活动举行得很成功，通过作文比赛，使学生和教师共同了解了目前学生学习的状况，通过寻找差距，激发了学生学习的兴趣，也带动了一大批英语学习爱好者迎头赶上。
