　　长期以来，我们英语教师在进行英语作文教学时注重的是英语作文的指导与训练，忽视了英语作文的批改，这种指导方式效果并不明显，学生的英语作文水平并没有提高上来。我国著名教育家叶圣陶曾经说过给学生改作文，最有效的办法是面批。近些年来，对学生的英语作文尝试采用了面批方式，发现面批英语作文能够激发学生的写作兴趣，提高学生的英语写作水平。

　　英语作文是高中阶段英语教学中一个重要的组成部分，它是学生英语综合能力运用的一种体现。英语作文也是高考必考的一个题型，因此如何提高学生的英语作文水平成为英语教师非常关心的问题。

　　长期以来，我们英语教师在进行英语作文教学时注重的是英语作文的指导与训练，忽视了英语作文的批改，即使批改也是在批改时喜欢用红笔到处划圈圈，死盯着学生的一些语法和用词错误牢牢不放，教师只把自己的注意力重心和焦点集中在学生的一句一词的表达准确与否问题上。结果这种指导方式效果并不明显，学生的英语作文水平并没有提高上来。近些年来，通过对英语作文教学进行深刻反思，并且进行了大量探索实践和学习先进的教改经验后，我认为英语教师在进行英语作文指导时应该注重英语作文的批改方式，而且应该采用面批学生英语作文的方式。我认为对学生进行面批英语作文是提高学生英语写作水平最行之有效方式。

　　一、面批英语作文能够及时指出学生写作时出现的问题并及时纠正

　　在英语写作时，我们经常发现许多中文式英语。每当学生写完英语作文时，我们教师如果能够当场面批，就能当场指出学生作文中出现的错误，及时帮助学生分析所犯错误的原因，了解此错误对文章内容和形式的不利影响，最后要求学生今后在写作中要克服和避免再犯类似的错误。

　　二、面批英语作文能够拉近教师与学生的距离，增强师生感情

　　我们老师每天都在忙于备课上课，同时还要管理班级，因此师生沟通交流的机会很少，而面批学生的英语作文为我们师生提供了近距离沟通的机会。我们教师当面批改作文，不仅指出学生写作中的不足之处，更重要的是鼓励和表扬闪光点。学生则当面聆听教诲，及时领会改意，加深印象。这样使学生既感到是朋友的交谈，又感到是行家的教诲。这就让学生心存感激，激发学生的写作欲望。这样一次心贴心的面批，拉近了教师和学生的距离，增进相互了解，加深感情。正所谓面对面平等对话，批的是作文，交流的是情感。

　　三、面批英语作文能够更好的维护学生的自尊心，增强他们的自信心

　　中学生正处于心理、生理发育最迅猛的时期，此时他们对外界刺激特别敏感，分辨力差，自尊心强，笔批太多的圈圈点点，一味地指出错误，会使他们觉得遭到贬低和否认，伤害其自尊心，久而久之使他们对作文产生畏难情绪。教师在面批英语作文时不用打红叉的方式来表明学生作文中存在的错误，不用把学生的作文改得密密麻麻，而是用温和的语气，耐心地指导和讲解，在指出错误的同时不断给予正面的肯定，这样能最大程度地消除学生的焦虑感，学生就不会有太多的受挫感，维护了他们的自尊心，进而增强了他们的`自信心，这样有利于激发学生的写作热情和兴趣。

　　四、面批英语作文可以有针对性地辅导，因材施教，从而提高学生英语作文的整体成绩

　　一般来说，一个班级学生的英语作文水平参差不齐，因此我们在面批时就不能一刀切，而是要有针对性地进行辅导。不会审题的，教给他们基本的审题规律；不知道如何积累素材的，指导并敦促他们多写日记，读书笔记等；不懂行文结构的，指导他们要善于模仿。对于一些基础比较薄弱的学生我们要求他们要多积累词汇，并基本掌握英语简单句的表达方式，学会应用简单句把要点全部写出，同时注意主谓一致、时态正确，词语搭配正确，同时也鼓励他们要敢于动手写作文；对于中等生来说，要求他们能熟悉掌握基本句型的表达，适当使用他们所学的各种从句、分词短语、固定句型等，并正确使用恰当的连接词完成写作任务；对于写作基础比较好的学生，要求完成写作任务的同时，鼓励他们应用较多的语法结构和高级词汇和多变的句式，让他们向满分作文靠拢。

　　五、面批英语作文可以更加增强我们教师的责任心

　　采用面批英语作文不同于传统的教师批改作业的方式，面批作文需要对学生进行面对面的批改，进行面对面的指导。实践证明这一切付出都是值得的，只要我们英语教师有责任心，有耐心能够坚持连续对学生进行3次面批作文，那么学生的英语作文水平一定会有很大提高。
