十二月二十二号，我和五个同学一起来到四眼碶中学参加英语比赛。
我们是第三个表演，原本非常自信，可看了前两个表演后，顿时，成了一个个泄了气的气球。就说第二个表演吧，他们演的是英文的“三打白骨精”。内容很多，也非常幽默，原本书中写的是悟空外出时，唐僧等人在原地休息，而表演的的同学们却改编成了在原地打扑克。这让全场的评委老师和同学都笑了起来。我们也哈哈大笑。不一会儿就到我们了。
我们径直走上舞台，快速布置起来。布置完背景后，我按照自己的稿子认真地念了起来。在警察出场时，闹了一个小笑话。我的旁白还没有念完时，警察就出来了。这也注定了我们的分数会下降。表演完了后，我们下场欣赏别的'同学的表演了。
我看了接下来的表演，有的表演《狐狸偷肉》，有人表演《小红帽》，还有人表演《狐假虎威》等经典的故事，我觉得我们最多只能拿最后一名，所以在心里下定了决心要好好学习英语，成为英语小能手。
比赛虽然结束了，但我一定要好好学英语。

下课了，江志鹏对我说：“没事儿，如果老师问你，你就说复印件不小心被我撕破了，我来承担所有的责任！”这样不太好吧！我还没答应，江志鹏就向回家的路上跑，还回过头来说：“就这么定了！”
第二次去上课，老师便严肃地问我俩：“为什么我的复印件会跑到办公室的垃圾桶里去了，而且还被撕成了两半？”“老……老师，昨天……”我话还没说完，江志鹏就打断了我，焦急地说：“老师，昨天是张琬晨不小心把复印件给撕破了，只是我不敢告诉你！”我惊呆了，我简直不敢相信自己的耳朵。老师不屑地看了看我，罚我到办公室去好好反省，我想把事情真正的原因告诉老师，老师生气的`说：“我不想听你解释。一再狡辩只会害了你自己！”我含着眼泪，不服的跑进了办公室。
