　　I am Li Hua form Xingguang Middle School. The topic of my speech is "Let's Ride Bicycles".

　　As is known to all, with the improvement of people’s living standards, cars have become a popular means of transport, bringing great convenience to our life. However, they have also caused some problems such as air pollution and traffic jams.

　　How can we solve the problems then? As far as I’m concerned, riding bicycles is a good solution. For one thing, bicycles don’t need any petrol and they are energy – saving. For another, bicycles are environmentally friendly because they won’t give off waste gas. What’s more, riding bicycles is a good way for us to exercise and it is beneficial to our health.

　　My room is very beautiful. Would you like to have a visit? Come with me.

　　When you open the door, you can see that my room is a long square, and the walls, including the roof, are painted a light pink.

　　On the west side of the door is my u-desk, which is where I go home to write my homework every day. There is a set of bookshelves on the desk. There are several partitions on the bookshelf and two cupboard doors with hollowed-out door! There are all sorts of delicate and beautiful little toys that I have in my collection! Up and down the left side of the desk is my bookcase, six partition is filled with my all kinds of books, to the north there is a big window, hanging above I picked out several days to find on the net of pink with lace curtains. There was a misty feeling through the window. Next to the window is my two-meter long, two-meter bed, with a pretty bow on the pink nightstand. Pink sheets, pink sheets, and kitty-cat patterns. There was a row of plush toys on the side of the pillow and they accompanied me to sleep with me. When I was a child, my mother said I was kind to call them my brother and sister. In support of this suggestion, the vice president points out that although Road Food initially thought the ad agency was following company recommendations, competitor-Street Eats earned higher profits last year. The vice president also notes that Street Eats has fewer restaurants than Road Food, and that Road Food spent nearly as much money on advertising as Street Eats did. This argument is unconvincing, since it relies on dubious assumptions and comparisons.

　　First, the vice president assumes that the ad campaign caused the low profits. However, the vice president ignores many other factors that contribute to profitability. In particular, the fact that Road Food has been spending less advertising money per restaurant than Street Eats suggests that its unwillingness to spend more may be the main reason for disappointing profits.

　　Second, the author implies that the ad agency failed to implement Road Foods guidelines, and that this failure was the reason for disappointing profits. However, it is equally possible that the ad agency faithfully followed all suggestions from Road Food, and that those suggestions were the cause of the disappointing profits. In this respect, the author unfairly shifts blame from Road Food to the ad agency.
