　　为提高孩子们英语水平，检验近期英语学习情况，进一步培养学生的英语综合运用能力，营造英语文化氛围，7月28日，山东理工大学“红色之旅”实践团于菏泽市牡丹区赵楼社区支教基地举行英语作文比赛。

　　此次比赛本着“人人参与”的原则，在初中三个年级中进行。以《My holidy》（我的假期）为题，学生们现场发挥，在30分钟的时间内写出一篇100词作文。比赛过程中，参赛选手胸有成竹，屏气凝神，严格遵守比赛规则，表现出优秀的参赛风格。全部同学在规定时间内完成，甚至有几位同学提前做完，显示出同学们对英语的有效掌握。学生作文水平虽显稚嫩，但从单词、句子的运用，到语法篇章的安排，都显示出了英语教学有了明显的进步，这是同学们勤学英语的结果，也是每位实践队员辛勤教学的结果。最终，赵芳同学脱颖而出荣获一等奖，刘涵、赵紫、赵伟等分获二、三等奖，队员们为其颁发奖状、奖品，以资鼓励。赛后，实践团将同学们的'作品在橱窗中展示，以供大家交流学习。同学们表示今后一定再接再厉，学好英语。队员们鼓励大家在日常生活中也要勤学勤用，在实践中探索英语的奥秘。

　　此次比赛有力调动起同学们学习英语的积极性，提高了对英语的实用能力，提高了学生英语读写能力。据悉，此类活动还将继续开展，为学生创设运用英语写作展示的平台。

　　今天早晨七点钟，我就起床了。上午，我要去参加“苏报杯”。

　　八点一刻，我来到了考试地点——胥江实验中学。我很快就找到了我的考场。我到考场的时候，很多人都来了。我先签到，然后就去找座位了。我发现我们的座位竟然是可以随便坐的'。我找了一个靠边的位子，坐下等待考试的开始。

　　铃声响了，监考的志愿者把试卷和草稿纸发给了我们。我拿到试卷后，先审题。这次考试一共要写两篇文章，第一篇是看图写对话，要求不少于八句话。我很快就写完了。

　　第二篇文章是让我们谈谈我们理想中的周末，120个词左右。正好类似的文章我前几天就写过，我的印象还很深刻。我写完后，时间还很多，我就数了数我的词数，一共167个。接着，我检查了一下我的单词有没有拼错，有没有语法错误。

　　九点半到了，我就交了卷子，离开了考场。

　　前几个礼拜，为了英语读者剧场比赛，英文老师和刘老师不停的教导我们，九位同学如何让每个句子唸得高低起伏、抑扬顿挫并加入感动观众的情感，同时告诉我们怎么以时而适当时而夸张的表情传达故事的意义。我们马不停蹄、加紧脚步的认真练习了好久。当然准备了这么久，无非不是希望正式比赛，能有优异而杰出的'表现。

　　当天，英文老师替紧张的我们打扮得引人注目，把脸蛋画上浓浓的妆，帮头发设计造型。到了休息区先加紧认真练习，我们是第十一组，大家有时专注的练习，有时从电视中观赏其他队伍的演出。当到了第十组演出时，我们各个冒出带着不安的汗水，脸色显露出恐惧，而老师则是拉高嗓音，不断的重复「一定得放大音量！」……等等的注意事项，这些提醒使我们更加惶惶不安！

　　「现在，请第十一组上台！」那时，我们各个头皮发麻，全身僵硬，勉强憋住气露出了硬梆梆、不好看的微笑。上台了，我们该大声时大声，并做出夸张的手势，且露出了牙齿，做出邪恶张牙舞爪的动作，下面的观众与评审则是，时而被我们的演出所感染而跟着微笑，时而因我们可怕的表情而露出了受惊吓的神色。下台时，我们把原先僵硬的脸蛋放轻松。此时，我们自然得露出了浅浅的微笑。

　　「万岁！万岁！我们入选了！」我们在三十二个参赛队中勇夺第五名！这句话在我心中不停的吶喊着、打转着，脸上同时浮现了混杂着骄傲与感动的神情。此刻，老师兴奋的又叫又跳，还自掏腰包买可乐及冰淇淋犒赏我们，这一切都要感谢老师辛苦的教导及同学们合作无间的奋力演出，期许我们在决赛中能够赢得更亮眼的成绩。

When the match started, I watched the basketball and moved as the ball flied, I forgot my job, I was asked to cover the team leader. 　　四、宣布比赛环节和评分细则

　　Now I would like to introduce the rules for the contest

　　Today's competition has two phases: The first phase is a 5 minutes’ speech show, which composes 60% of the score. In this part, the contestants are supposed to make a 3 minutes’ impromptu speech according to the topics , and then they will answer the questions raised by our judges, and the time limit is 2 minutes.

　　And the second phase is the role play of each contestant, which takes 40% of the final score. Every one of them will be given 5 minutes to display their role they selected beforehand.

　　After the performance by the contestants, our judges will give fair judgment according to the comprehensive performance of each contestant. We will have one champion, two second prizes winners, three third prize and the rest contestants will get the Excellence Award. I wish all of them achieve a lot, and have good luck.

　　今天下午我们学校举行了英语节歌曲大家唱，我们都很兴奋。我们有的在家画好妆有的在班上画好妆，个个都美美的帅帅的。

　　来到音乐厅，我们先坐好看其他班级表演，大家的服装都很漂亮整齐。我们只看了五个节目，大家的节目都很精彩，二年级三班的同学表演了《爸爸去哪儿》我觉得表演的很棒，是我比较喜欢的一个节目。

　　我真想再看几个节目。不过就要到我们表演了，我们要去准备了。我们表演的是《Twinkle Twinkle Little Star》，我们表演的也很精彩，女孩子的.衣服闪闪的，男同学的是夏季礼服看起来像个小绅士。前面六个女同学他们表演的动作最难了，我们男同学的动作比较简单，就在那里一站一坐的，最后拍手。我们没有看到剩下的节目，表演完我们就回到教室吃冰激凌了，吃完冰激凌我们还去合了影。

　　如果下次还有这种大型节目，我们要更认真表现更好，因为那时我们又长大了一些，我希望下次男同学也有动作。

Then it was my turn,I felt a bit nervous, for I wanted to outdo my father. Because my fingers are more flexible than my father＇s, I won the first prize by 30 characters a minute at last. It was really an interesting Sunday.
