准备了好久，终于到了英语比赛的日子了。妈妈带我去化妆店把我打扮得像个小公主。我约了万诗琪去给我打气，我们还接了夏老师一起去看我的表演。
到了杭州，我们在赛场内看了许多小朋友的表演，他们都很棒，我相信我一定能像他们那样棒的。在那里等了好长的时间，终于轮到我了。当主持人叫到我的名字时，我的心情一下子紧张起来了。走到台上我想到了妈妈的.话：“把下面的评委当成是班里的同学，他们在听我领读英语呢！”想到这儿，我的心情一下子就平静了下来，顺利的表演完了准备好的节目。听到观众的掌声，别提我心里有多高兴了。夏老师还夸我的表演很不错，妈妈也说我的表演非常棒。我克服了我胆小的毛病，以后我会对自己更加有信心。
比赛在大家的掌声结束了，我带这喜悦的心情回家了。
