　　为什么很难写出好的英语作文？

　　这是一个困扰大家很久的问题。从小学开始学习英文直到初中毕业，我们掌握了一定量的单词和句型，但是在运用这些单词和句型的时候，我们往往会先在脑海中构造一个中文的句式，然后把它翻译成中文。

　　比如这个句子：

　　他的笑话把我给逗死了。

　　绝大多数同学都这样写：His joke made me laugh to death.

　　正如一句从英文翻译过来的中文会显露出它原本的英式结构和用词一样，这样一句汉语转换成的英语也会暴露它深刻的中文血统，甚至因为强求对某个局部进行中文对译而导致最后写成的句子贻笑大方。

　　所以在动笔练习写作之前，我们首先要明白一点：虽然思维转换成语言是瞬间的事情，但是思维本身不是语言。中国同学的问题在于，我们的思维转变成中文的速度太快了，快到你自己意识不到这种转换完成了，所以脑海中永远都是成型的中文句子，地道的中文句子。于是在写作的.时候，同学们总是面对中文句子，从第一个词开始动笔翻译，最后呈现的是一篇生硬的英语译文，而非英语作文。大家稍微注意一下就会发现：

　　这两个句子的一一对应关系和生搬硬套的文字处理。

　　思维――中文――英文写作模式最大的危害在于它不允许同学从整个句子的高度来把握句式结构的组织和词汇选择，把同学套牢在和自己的中文斗争，和一个个中文单词斗争的局部战场上。所以说，在进行英文写作的时候，切断思维和中文的连接，让思维，而不是表述思维的中文留在脑海中，是进行英语写作的第一步。

　　说白了，就是你脑海中有那个意思，没那个句子。

　　正因为没有，才能够创造，佛经中说的真空妙有也是这个意思，因为茶杯是空的，才能倒进水去，一个被塞满的茶杯貌似充实，其实是最没用。

　　转眼间，已经10月6日了，下午，我将要参加由广州市少年宫举行的“少儿英语表演赛”初赛。虽然或多或少地准备了三天，可心里依旧没有底。就从我们班看吧，参加这次比赛的同学在放假前好几天就开始准备了。再把眼光放远一些，整个广州市的英语精英多的是，他们不知什么时候就开始准备了。不说这么多了，反正就是一句话：心里乱的是。

　　下午两点钟多一点点，我就出去坐车了。一想到马上就要比赛，心里就慌得“咚咚”直跳。毕竟，我自己的事自己知道，为了这次比赛，我做的准备时间不超过四小时。一想到这些，我就不寒而栗了。趁现在这段时间，我还是再复习几遍吧，虽然临时抱佛脚是没用的，但毕竟多练习一次就多一丝希望。

　　一个多小时的车程转眼间就过了。刚踏入少年宫，就感到了一阵生机，门口放着一张鲜绿的大牌，两边还各有一个气球人，挥动着两只长长的'手臂，仿佛在为我加油。四周的树木绿绿的。看到这一切，心里就轻松了一些。可是来到赛场，心里就又一阵害怕了，多严肃啊。这时，我真想看到一个两个同班同学，就是他们一句简单的鼓励我的话，也能让我心里踏实一些。可是没有。

　　走进赛场，就开始了等待。这时，我是可以在作准备的，可紧张和担心已让我受够了。过了一会儿，就有老师领着我们进场。

　　只见比赛的教室里一片肃静，我们这些参赛选手各就各位后比赛就开始了。大家一个一个地表演，有的显示出了自己的风采，也有部分同学因紧张而发挥不出真正的成绩。“下面是Aa147号同学。”裁判员点到。我小小步地来到教室中央。“Good afternoon,evebody."刚说完，我就紧张得忘记了下一句，好一会儿才想起来。看着裁判员那一脸的微笑，我那悬着的心渐渐平静了下来。用较流利的英语讲起了故事。刚讲到一半，突然忘记了下一句，好久才想起来。这时，讲到了我平时最不熟的一句就停下了，心里“咚咚咚”地跳个不停，我确实记不起下一句是什么。我紧张地看着裁判们，他们都面带着微笑，但是任我怎样使劲地想，脑子里就是一片空白。这时，只见裁判脸一沉，说了声“唱歌吧。”我的心也随之沉了下来，这无疑是给我判了死刑。但我一向是要强的人，还是高声唱起了英文歌。接下来，大家又一个个上台表演了。

　　虽然这次比赛我失败了，但我并不灰心，重在参与嘛，成败并不重要。从这次失败中，我明白了凡事都要认真对待才能成功。我相信从这次失败中吸取到教训，下一次我一定能行！

　　The subjects claim such reasons as follows。 First and foremost， a quarter of the interviewed students regard it as parents’ duty to support them spiritually and financially。 And it is not necessary to express appreciation to their parents。 However， the majority of youngsters are aware of their parents’ tender love but are not accustomed to saying “Thank you”。 Some even find a generation gap between themselves and their parents， thus feeling reluctant to express their affection for their parents。

　　In my opinion， extending thankfulness to our parents is a way of respecting them and their love。 We should express our feelings directly and bravely， but what’s more important is， we should do all that we can to reward them。

　　The results of the college entrance examinatiun came. I tore open the envelope. As soon as I saw the score, tears streamed down my face. I fell into my bed and did not get up the whole day. All was over. What is the meaning to live on earth? For the first time I thought of death, of being a vagrant and of being single all my life. I was only seventeen. Wasn＇t it cruel to me? My father was hurt and he could not stand it, that his son was a disgrace. He was angry beyond words. My mother kept silent, and often I saw her in tears. Horror filled the house.
