早上，姚煜辰宣布下午要来抽背英语课本中的一篇短文。大家一听，紧张得不得了。下课时，大家就马上看着英语短文，努力地背着。可是，我是越看越忘，越看越紧张，我心想：这下可得完蛋了。
下午，走进教室，她先抽背了几个同学，可那几个同学都不会背。这时，我的心跳不由地加快速度，目不转睛地盯着姚雨辰。与此同时，姚雨辰也用她那双明亮的眼睛不停地教室里巡视。这时的'她仿佛就是一个可怕的魔鬼，在看哪个同学的肉更新鲜。我心里不停地念叨着：上天保佑，姚煜辰你可千万不要抽到我啊。这时，班长自告奋勇地站了起来，我看他是那么地紧张，脸涨得通红，说话也变得结巴了，刚背了第一句就忘了下一句，吭哧了一会儿又记起来了，很不顺畅，但总算过了关，这让姚煜辰那严肃的脸上露出了一丝阳光。终于，姚煜辰停止了搜寻，宣布暂停抽查。
啊！这真是让人害怕的抽查，下次，我一定要赶紧背出。

这样的节目是各种各样，内容十分丰富。唱歌的、跳舞的、演讲的、演话剧的……有些节目很容易勾起学生们的兴趣，就像那个演《小猪佩奇》的`，唱同学们十分熟悉的英文歌的，尤其是那个有几位高年级男生穿着长裙在台上对话的节目，更是引起了班级里许多讨论的声音。
自己在看节目的时候，听着屏幕里传来小演员们的声音，全是英语，自己听得一头雾水，不知道他们到底在说什么，听不懂一句英语的意思，只能看他们的表演来了解一下节目的意思。班里，许多同学看不懂皱起了眉头，又有些同学听不懂就去写晚上的家庭作业了。其中的几个节目里，说的英语中不时出现几个自己认识的单词，甚至还有几首自己听过的英文歌曲。
学校今年的音乐节的表演内容十分丰富，自己也有所感慨，台上的表演者能够把英语说的十分流利，还能够背下来。自己却在台下一句话也听不懂，自己听懂表演者的话比自己听听力都困难的多，一下子觉得自己的英语词汇量同那些人相比差的可不是一点。
