第一：必备素质：
1.吃苦耐劳，默默无闻的敬业
我来自大别山脚下的一个落后的小村子。我深深懂得“宝剑锋从磨砺出，梅花香自苦害来”。苦涩的童年时代和艰难的求学之路培养了我“流汗流血不流泪”的性格和“特别能吃苦，特别能忍耐，特别能奉献”的良好品质。因此，我十分珍惜我的工作岗位，工作踏踏实实，勤勤恳恳，一丝不苟。

第二：必备能力枝江一中六年的工作经历使我具备了担任教务处主任助理的工作能力。
1.工作经历：班主任工作通关（小学两年），三次小学教学，三年教科科室副主任。
特别是在年，我带小学（11），三（12）两个班的英语课，三（12）班班主任，同时，主要负责教科室工作（时任教科室主任的周德富老师因病请假一年）
2.工作业绩：
①教学方面：所任教班级一直居备课组前。其中年二次ec和劳绩评估居全校第一，三次居全年级第二名，二次获XX市教学质量一等奖。
并在年，高考评估居枝江一中文科组第一名。参加XX市优质课竞赛一等奖，校首届说话二等奖，青兰杯上课一等奖。
②管理方面：四年的班主任经历中有三次获得示范班级称号（注：枝江一中的示范班级，每个年级每学期期末评一次，且只能评一个）四次五星班级，一次四星班级。这在枝江一中的校史上是不多见的。参加枝江一中首届和班主任五项技能大赛均货一等奖。
③教研方面：工作以来，我乐于和归纳、勤于反思，有五文分别发表在《中小学电教》《湖北教育》《教师报》《小学生学习报》等刊物上；另有三论文获国家级论文交流一二等奖。
第三：独特的优势：
1.我有担任教务处主任助理的年龄优势：30岁，正当盛年，正是甩开臂膀大干一场的黄金年华。
2.我有坚强的后盾，我的战友黄会慧，现夷陵小学一（3）、一（13）班英语教师，同时任一三班班主任，我们同教英语，有着天然的协作和支持的便利条件。
3.家庭支持：不久远在枝江的父母也会到宜昌定居。有了他们的支持，我们便没有了对父母儿子的牵挂，可以全身心投身于工作中去。
基于以上三大方面的原因，我认为我有能力担任教务处主任主力这一职务。下面，我简要谈谈我对教务刘主任助理这一工作岗位的认识。
简单的说，十二个字：“组织协调，当好参谋，做好服务”教务工作细小繁杂，几乎每天都“重复着昨天的故事”。然而教学是学校的中心工作，因而教务工作这便显的尤为重要，一但教学工作某环节出了问题，就会影响整个学校的正常的教学秩序。
1.组织协调指的是：协助主任指导课题组，坐好教师的雪原培训工作，新教师的岗前培训工作，抓好校本培训工作，编排四表：教师分工安排表、课表、时间表、值日值周表，完成教学情况的检查汇总反馈工作。
2.当好参谋指的是：定期召开学生座谈会，及时掌握第一手资料，完成教学的数据的统计工作，及时发现问题，并为班主任建设行的意见，成立教学顾问团，试题机制，优质课竞赛选拔机制，本校先进教师业绩报告会例会制，开办学生陪优辅差班：为实验班开辟图书馆。实验室绿色通道。高一新生开设礼仪课，学法指导课，心理健康教育课。
3.做好服务指的是：为课题组服务，帮助课题组完成资料的`工作，具体地向老师们准备好每一期的教育教学理论学习资料，并督促老师们做好理论笔记，做好各类台帐：如教师资料选用台帐，教师条理台帐，师生获奖台帐，师生请假台帐，教师参加大型教研活动或竞赛活动台帐，集体备课活动台帐，教学常规检查、学生的学籍管理和教师
的业务的管理，等等台帐，这必将有效地为过程考核和终端积累原始资料。
假如我对于幸竞聘成功，我将笨鸟先飞、不负重望、不辱使命，并从以下四个方面做好本质工作。
1.摆正位置当好配角
在工作中，我将尊重主任的核心地位，处处维护主任的威信。多请教、多汇报、多交流、多。

二、英语学科的特点

1、26个字母大小写，会说会写，并且在书写英文字母时会按正确的顺序及书写格式进行书写；在小学英语的阶段掌握好26个字母的听说读写及在单词中的基本发音，这对孩子们今后所要接触的大量词汇的听说读写很重要。
2、每单元的单词都很重要。这就要孩子们周末回家去复，消化这些单词。词汇是三年级考试的重要内容，每周末一定要过关。
3、课文中的对话，日常交际用语。要求每个同学都会背，要求能熟练，流畅的读出来，说出来。

小学阶段的英语学习是我们孩子外语学习的第一次，是建构外语学习方法和策略的基础工程。孩子们通过学习英语，不仅获得相应的语言和文化知识，而且从中可以总结与完善自身的学习方法和策略，促进他们全面发展。整个小学英语的学习分低、中、高三个阶段，一二年级着重学生基本语音的模仿，三四年级则注重英文的规范书写，(五六年级才是孩子真正开始接触语法。)那么五年级是很关键的一年，因为五年级起到了承上启下的作用，我们要在三四年级良好的基础上让孩子继续保持英语学习的兴趣，为将来升入六年级打下坚实的基础。
二、如何让孩子喜欢学英语主动学英语
本学期牛津英语5b一共10个unit，其中的unit 1到unit 4和unit 6到unit9是新授课，unit 5和10是复习课牛津英语5a的unit 1 2 3 4 和6 7 8 9 单元各由六到七各板块组成, 第一部分是read and say是情景会话板块;第二部分look, read and learn 主要按话题归类和图词结合呈现词汇;第三和第四板块中的句型是每个单元的教学重点,一般都要求四会掌握;第五板块read and act板块的任务主要是培养学生初步的语感,阅读能力和良好的朗读习惯;第六板块listen and repeat 是语音训练板块;第七板块fun house是一个活动板块.教材要求教师注意培养学生良好的朗读和书写习惯.努力做到以听说助读写,以读写促听说。首先，应该让孩子明确英语学习的重要性，帮助他们树立信心。我们可以告诉他们英语是一种交际工具，是你长大以后一直要用的工具，它是一种语言，不难也不高深，只要学习方法对路，只要肯花功夫，是一定可以学好的。其次，帮助孩子建立和形成良好的英语学习习惯。可以这么说，良好的学习习惯是英语学习成功的一半。什么是良好的学习习惯呢?良好的学习习惯分两部分：一是课堂习惯，二是课外习惯。课堂良好习惯表现为：能集中注意力听，能积极大胆发言，能适时的做好必要的笔记。集中注意力听这点我觉得很重要，很多孩子在做题和考试中遇到困难，很大的原因就是上课没有专心听课， “适时作必要的笔记”这一点，对与成人来说是相当简单的，而对与一个十几岁的小学生来说，却有意想不到的难。他们或者忙于写，或者什么也记不到，甚至会起到影响上课的反作用，但这是孩子为今后学习必须掌握的一项课堂技能。现在我的要求是我的讲的时候要求学生认真听，我会留出时间给孩子们作课堂纪录。
课外良好的习惯表现为：1.能完成老师布置的预习任务(预习的要求是听磁带朗读,把不会的单词,词组或句子利用书后的单词表查好意思),2.能按时，保质保量的完成课外作业能自觉自发地进行听说读写的预习和复习工作;能自觉阅读和运用英语书籍(包括英语字典)。以上这些，其实是后续学习的预设，作用是不容忽视的。再者，要关注孩子的学习过程，不要只注重结果。意思是说不要等成绩出来了再说，而是时刻关注孩子每一天的成长。所谓：好好学习，天天向上。一口吃不成胖子，一天养不成好习惯。比如说，每天，我们是否听到孩子大声地说或读英语，大声尤其重要，因为英语的语音较汉语来讲，比较夸张，声音小，容易造成发音不到位，错音也不容易被发现;每天是否听见孩子房中响起英语地课文录音;每天是否能到孩子脱口而出简单地英语句子。我惊喜的发现我们的有的孩子现在的朗读能力很强,一个个读的那么好,那么流利,那么有模有样,建议家长回家听一听你的孩子的英语朗读,你会和我一样有惊喜的`感觉。
三、不仅要关心孩子身体健康，更要关注他们的心理发展。
兴趣、情感和态度等非智力因素对英语学习起着极其重要的作用。中低年级孩子往往兴趣很高，但到了高年级，随着难度加大，兴趣继而大大减弱，这很正常。因为中低年级的兴趣中最主要原素是好奇心，是最原始来得快，去得也快。只有通过认真，踏实、勤恳地学习得到成功地体验，才能形成更高层次的兴趣。兴趣有了，自然就有好的态度，饱满的学习状态，学习就进入良性循环。这就是常说的：身心健康。
四、本学期几点具体做法，大部分是承袭四年级
1、关于单词和句子的背诵和默写。
这是基础之基础。每课的单词(包括b部分的单词和书后的单词表中蓝色部分的单词)要求学生能默写，要求学生回家背诵并试默，高质量的试默要做到及时、有效。当天教，当晚背，这是符合人脑遗忘规律的，效果要比过几天补好得多，这样课堂上默写的时候，学生就有底气，默写质量就很高，正确率高，也是一次小小得成功体验。久而久之，不仅打好了词汇基础，也培养了好习惯。这一点我们的大部分孩子能自觉做到并完成的很好，当然每个班级总有这样几个需要特别关注的孩子，需要老师给他们开“小灶”。而孩子们都已经长大了，能知道学习是自己的事了，只是缺少自觉性，能够主动地认真地自己学这才是我们老师和你们家长最想看到的事。本学期中 在英语学习上，取得的很大的进步 。但是开学到现在我还是发现有几个孩子分数仍然在40分以下，没有什么大的起色，我想和你们家长形成合力，让这些孩子也进入到自主学习主动学习的行列中，让他们也能尝到成功的滋味。

When my parents went to see Teresa Heinz Kerry speak, they told me that she was amazing! -- and that they thought John Kerry would make a great President. I decided to find out more about John Kerry. I talk about what I learned by using my ABCs.
"A" is America. John Kerry is a hero to America, and he will help our futures. He is a great and positive role model.
"B" is Better education. John Kerry wants to make class sizes smaller, so that children get the best part out of learning. He wants to help teachers because being a teacher is educating children, and letting them out into the world to do good things.
"C" is Compassion towards children. John Kerry wants to make sure that health care is not a privilege, but it is something that we can all afford.
