The goal of my life is living a simple happy and healthy life.

Is the Expansion of Enrollment a Good Thing?
Many colleges and universities have expanded their enrollment since 1998. The reasons for the expansion are as follows. Firstly, they want to keep up with the need of the job market to produce more qualified people to take up the jobs. Secondly, the expansion has entitled many high school graduates to the right of receiving higher education. Last but not least, it can raise the intellectual standards of our nation.
However, studies show that the trend to expand has brought about many problems. For instance, the teaching facilities and accommodation capacities of many colleges and universities are limited and are unable to meet the demand of an ever-increasing number of the newly enrolled students. On the other hand, the average quality of the freshmen is declining. In the long run, hunting for a job will be a tough thing for the graduates and that will inevitably exert much pressure on the prospects of employment.
In spite of all this, I am still confident that the expansion of enrollment is of great benefit to our society and is a good thing. With the development of our national economy, the problem as mentioned above will be solved if proper measures are taken.

I was born in a small county which is poor. Therefore, there were no beautiful clothes or many toys. Before I went to school at six, I only played with my peers nearby. It was such a wonderful period that I would never forget. We always made our toys independently, which cost no money at all.
Sometimes, parents would help making toys as well. We could play from morning to night until parents told us to go home for dinner. However, as a rural child, I must help my parents doing farm work in the busy season, such as planting and harvesting. Besides, my mother is a teacher. 开始上课了，同学们十分兴奋，在台下议论纷纷。战瑞和王翕然宣布活动开始。首先是裴雨霏和刘熹上台表演TakeMeHome。裴雨菲唱歌真是太好听了。她虽然嗓音低，但音准非常好，唱的旋律也是那么柔美，真是一个完美的女中音。唱完后全班同学不约而同的鼓起了热烈的掌声。
第一首歌唱完后，我开始紧张起来，很快就要到我表演了。我的心理素质差，只要站在大家面前，不论表演还是唱歌，两腿都会瑟瑟发抖，浑身上下冒冷汗，看到39双眼睛盯着我就更会吓得不知所措，而且蒋老师居然还在录视频！天哪，我能唱好吗？我的.心里直打鼓。
第二个表演的是潘炜昊和杨善平，表演的是英文歌曲ABC。他们两个边拉着手边用滑稽的嗓音唱着，调跑的很厉害，但很有节奏感。同学们被这低沉而又古怪的声音逗得哈哈大笑，也缓解了我的紧张心情。
下一个就是我表演了。我战战兢兢的走上舞台，长出了一口气。我要唱的歌曲是TroubleIsaFriend。由于同伴奏合不上我需要清唱。但刚一上台我就找不到调了，我在台上愣了一会儿后又试了一试，终于找到了调。我十分投入地唱了起来。我心里提醒自己要用对气息，把每一个词每一句都要唱清晰。可是由于第二段第一句歌词太长，调非常不好找，而我一上来就起高了，节凑没把握好，气息也没有用对位置，唱到一半就岔气了。我尴尬的笑了笑，冷静下来重新开始唱了一遍。这一遍节奏掌握的非常准，一直唱到最后都很成功。同学们都为我鼓掌，我顿时有了一种成就感。我走下了讲台，才发现后背和手心全都是汗。接下来几位表演者都很成功。
晚上回到了家，我仔细看了蒋老师在微信群里发的视频，发现我并没有平时练习时发挥的好。是啊，我今后必须加强练习克服自己容易紧张的毛病。这节英语课十分有意义，给了我们一次上台锻炼的机会，丰富了我们的初中生活，我们要珍惜学校中的每一次表演机会。
