  Make It Be

Don’t allow your troubles to get the best of you。 Instead, allow those troubles to make the best of you。

Don’t tire yourself out fighting against the challenges。 Instead, find new energy by embracing1 those challenges and working through them to create real value。

Always remind yourself that discour-agement is nothing more than a response you’ve chosen。 When you find that you’ve chosen to let it be, you can just as surely choose to let it go。

Replace discouragement with determin-ation。 It is your life’s energy, and you can point it in whatever direction you choose。 Your most powerful response is not based only on what has already happened。 Your most powerful response also takes into account what you wish to make happen next。

Look forward, and envision in great detail the future you desire。 Then gather all your energy, and step forward to make it be。

  Conquer Fears

To conquer our fears, we must go past them。

To fear is natural; to go past them is heroic。 Fear is a normal part of life, symbolizing that there are new, extraordinary things to e across and face。 To be able to see these things before they happen is a sign of wisdom。 Fear is nothing out of the ordinary。 To admit that we are fearing is to prove that we value our life。

And men should pay attention to the call of fears。 To truly be a leader or someone who is heroic and brave, we should focus on getting past these fears。 And it is frightful for people to go through life ignoring fears, because they may often forget their heart and step into life without responsibility。

To be born is to live。 To live is to fear。 To fear is to be challenged。 To accept our fears is to be mature。 It needs bravery, maturity and vitality to face our fears, accept the challenges and hope for the best。

The on-screen chemistry between Will Smith and Jayden Smith is great and makes the viewer really care and root for the characters.Overall its a great story of hope, of working hard to achieve things,of not giving up... I dare you to watch this movie and not feel like you can do more in your life, that you can and should go after your dreams and not settle for anything less.

Directions: You are allowed 40 minutes to write an essay no less than 150 words on the following topic.

  1.some emphasize book knowledge

  2.others stress practical experience

3.which one is more important? Give your reasons to illustrate your opinion.

Which is more important in life, knowledge from the books you read, or personal experience you gain in reality? The answer may vary from person to person. The young, educated may emphasize the former, and the old may stress the later. But in my opinion, they are of the same importance.

Experience is priceless. How to become an efficient secretary? How to prepare for your first child to come into the world? There is so much experience we need in careers, in life and even in academic studies. It helps one deal with the problems with ease and confidence. Especially activities and to accumulate experience of different kinds is more crucial.

Experience, however, is limited in terms of time and space. For one thing, it is impossible for anyone to experience all the important events and meet all the famous people. For another, as the speed with which skills are obsolete and new problems crop up is unprecedented because of the fast development of society, experience is far less adequate. Depending too much on it only leads to narrow-mindedness and prejudice.

One way to compensate for it is to read books. Books of various kinds can bring us almost unlimited additional experience. From books you can not only trace back to the wisdom of our antecedents, but keep up with the latest developments of science and technology. To be sure, it's secondhand experience. But it is the ideal supplement to our own limited experience. Few of us can travel around the world, or live long beyond one hundred years, but all of us can live many lives by reading books.

Both book knowledge and personal experience are essential. While experience makes one more resourceful, book knowledge makes one more learned.

The genial spring breeze is very comfortable on the face. In the bright spring days, the school held a sports meeting open up a fresh outlook. Unlike in the past, the athletes were the teachers of the school.

The name of the game is very interesting. It's called "helping each other."". "Boat" is actually two pieces of wood, each board has five fixed sets, when the game, five players put their feet into the fixed sleeve, the first team came to the end, is the champion.

In the third class, the loud voice of headmaster Li came from the radio. "Please ask the group leader and the players to concentrate immediately on the playground."......" Suddenly, the whole campus was boiling up. Both sides of the runway were crowded with spectators: cheerleaders, teachers, classmates, and curious parents.

The game began, and the season teacher and her players came in, they set the posture, the back of the people holding the front of the waist, one by one eager. Just listen to the referee gave the order, they shouted: "one or two, one or two......" While with vigorous strides forward to walk, at the beginning, I am happy to their way ahead, jumping and screaming. But good times don't last long teacher suddenly fell, single, which you can go, you rush. I am anxious, anxious to help them to run in the past. Finally, they regroup and start again, but soon to end point of time, do not know what the teacher, a nervous, they fell, had a long time to climb up. It seems the first prize is gone, can only take a "wrestling Award"!

In fact, it is not important to be a champion. It is important for you to participate.

When we think of Thanksgiving today, images of football, pumpkin pie, parades, and turkey dinner complete with cranberry sauce come to mind, as well as plans for a Black Friday shopping spree the following day.

Of course none of these items were present back in 1621, when the Wampanoag people and the Pilgrims sat down together to give thanks for nature’s bounty. Although the celebrants at this particular meal didn’t even call it “Thanksgiving”, this particular harvest feast is the one after which we model our modern-day Thanksgiving celebrations.

People of both cultures had been giving thanks for the fall harvest and other gifts of nature for many centuries. It is interesting to note that the religious element, giving thanks to God, was not present at this particular celebration in 1621, even though the Pilgrims were devoutly religious. In fact, some early Pilgrim "thanksgiving days" were actually fasts rather than feasts. Imagine that!

However, the Native Americans had their own religious customs and beliefs. As a result, during this "first" Thanksgiving, Pilgrims and Native Americans did not focus on what was different between them, but instead concentrated on what they all shared. The two groups of people worked side by side to hunt and prepare food as equals and friends. Their friendship and cooperation was yet another thing for which to be thankful. Other feasts such as this one took place throughout the New World, where settlers and Native Americans worked together and celebrated together as one.

When we sit down to our Thanksgiving dinner, we honor a piece of early American history. The story of the Pilgrims and Native Americans serve as a good reminder for all of us to be thankful for what we have--no matter how much or how little.

From these graphs, we can draw a conclusion that, with the growth of human population, the number of species has decreased rapidly in america, and some species have even vanished from our planet.

Why does this phenomenon appear? There are several possible reasons for this.Above all, as the human population grows rapidly, a growing number of people came to live where some wild species have been living. then these species have to move to other places.

Some of them probably can not adapt to the new environment and die. In addition, although many people look on the wildlife as their friends, some people may not think so. They catch a lot of wild animals and sell them in order to get more money.

Even worse/more importantly, as the result /consequence of the industry, the natural balance and the ecologic environment are destroyed. the clear cutting has become increasingly serious. So some of the wildlife become homeless and extinct.

In order to protect the wildlife,I have some suggestions.First, the governments should make laws to prevent them from being caught and killed. Second, the governments should educate people to love nature and protect it. Third, as for ourselves, we should take practical actions to protect our living environment.
