high-rise buildings have their advantages and disadvantages, of course. in urban areas where land is expensive, they take up less space. some people say that high-rise buildings can give a city striking beauty. some buildings are apartments, which can house hundreds of families under one roof.on the other hand, high-rise buildings may be dangerous.what if there is a fire or an earthquake? what if power and water are in short supply? in addition, high-rise buildings/blocks may not be suitable for children and old people.
to conclude, it goes without saying that high-rise buildings are necessary, but their number should be limited.at the same time, effective measures must be taken to solve such problems as the supply of water and power.

I still remember last year when I was feeling lost,down and out,I had no idea about about my life,my love,my study even doubt why I was here in the world.So then came so much wine ang smoke,I was tired,physical and mental.I even wanted to end my life just jumping from the top of our buliding.
Then my teacher came to me, she said she knew what I was afraid of, she aslo told me that's very common like many yong people of my age. She told me to call her anytime I need her help.I did so ,we often chat ems and made some phone call.I just can't remember when come the mirical.I have found myself now!!!

Just as he expected, there was nobody in sight in the neuroscience department. He then peered into the main hallway. Complete stillness. He quickly scrambled down the hallway towards the chemistry department. Right after the keypad on the door gave access, he heard noise echoing down the hall. It was too late to turn back. He entered the office and quietly closed the door.

叮铃铃，上课了。本周五的第三节英语课并不像从前那样枯燥乏味，而是大家一起分享了自己喜欢的英文歌并上台表演给大家。
开始上课了，同学们十分兴奋，在台下议论纷纷。战瑞和王翕然宣布活动开始。首先是裴雨霏和刘熹上台表演TakeMeHome。裴雨菲唱歌真是太好听了。她虽然嗓音低，但音准非常好，唱的旋律也是那么柔美，真是一个完美的女中音。唱完后全班同学不约而同的鼓起了热烈的掌声。
第一首歌唱完后，我开始紧张起来，很快就要到我表演了。我的心理素质差，只要站在大家面前，不论表演还是唱歌，两腿都会瑟瑟发抖，浑身上下冒冷汗，看到39双眼睛盯着我就更会吓得不知所措，而且蒋老师居然还在录视频！天哪，我能唱好吗？我的心里直打鼓。
第二个表演的是潘炜昊和杨善平，表演的是英文歌曲ABC。他们两个边拉着手边用滑稽的嗓音唱着，调跑的很厉害，但很有节奏感。同学们被这低沉而又古怪的声音逗得哈哈大笑，也缓解了我的紧张心情。
下一个就是我表演了。我战战兢兢的走上舞台，长出了一口气。我要唱的歌曲是TroubleIsaFriend。由于同伴奏合不上我需要清唱。但刚一上台我就找不到调了，我在台上愣了一会儿后又试了一试，终于找到了调。我十分投入地唱了起来。我心里提醒自己要用对气息，把每一个词每一句都要唱清晰。可是由于第二段第一句歌词太长，调非常不好找，而我一上来就起高了，节凑没把握好，气息也没有用对位置，唱到一半就岔气了。我尴尬的笑了笑，冷静下来重新开始唱了一遍。这一遍节奏掌握的非常准，一直唱到最后都很成功。同学们都为我鼓掌，我顿时有了一种成就感。我走下了讲台，才发现后背和手心全都是汗。接下来几位表演者都很成功。
晚上回到了家，我仔细看了蒋老师在微信群里发的视频，发现我并没有平时练习时发挥的好。是啊，我今后必须加强练习克服自己容易紧张的毛病。这节英语课十分有意义，给了我们一次上台锻炼的机会，丰富了我们的`初中生活，我们要珍惜学校中的每一次表演机会。

The dictionary is living teacher. Whenever you come across a new word, just consult it and you will get a clear definition from it. Every student, no matter attending school or self-taught, should always have a dictionary at hand. As a study aid, it is convenient, inexpensive and all-knowing.
Skills will develop with your constant use of various dictionaries. The more you use them, the more familiar you will become with them. Sooner or later, you will be quite skilled in finding the page, scanning the entries and locating the exact meaning of the new words.
But you should have one thing mind. As a language student, you should never depend too much on dictionaries. Basic language skills do not come from dictionaries, but from your practice.
