During the first 22 years, the number of people aged 60 and above ascended slightly from 97.19 to 136 million, and since 20xx it is predicted that this number will surge remarkably, reaching 410 million in 20xx. Meanwhile, the proportion of aged citizens revealed and will reveal the similar trend, and it will reach 27.4% in total population.
Such a scenario can be naturally associated with various problems in aged society. For one thing, aged society is best characterized by the more burden for youngsters to support parents, which will enable younger generation to work harder. For another, compared with the past and today, the aged citizens will play a more important role in society. A case in point is their age for retiring will be extended. Therefore, a larger proportion of senior citizens have to take more responsibilities in work, family and society.
Accordingly, it is advisable for Chinese government to focus more eyesight on the coming challenges in the forthcoming future. Meanwhile, it is essential for China to work out comprehensive strategies to strengthen its social welfare to reduce young people’s stress.
Such a scenario can be naturally associated with various problems in aged society, but what resulted in this change above? For one thing, the past 30 years was best characterized by the policy of Family Plan in China, which enabled a host of families to have only one kid and enabled the proportion of youngsters to decline. For another, compared with the past, medical care and quality of life is and will be better; therefore, a larger proportion of people live longer. In our modern society, the concept of independent thought is fast becoming obsolete. These days, anyone unsure of what to think about a certain issue can simply go online or turn on the television and a host of bloggers, pundits, and analysts are ready and willing to tell them where they should stand on an important topic. Although the Internet has made sharing one's opinion much easier, it is also making it increasingly difficult to think for one's self. The old fashion way of forming an opinion, by examining the facts and shaping an opinion from them, is under fire from a news media that wants to tell us not only what is happening but how we should feel about the unfolding events. Now more than ever, the ability to think for one's self is an important skill and realize the importance of doing so.
The ability to think for one's self is becoming a lost art today. Too many people take the easy way out and simply allow the majority to do their thinking for them. But thinking for one's self has little to do with always going against the majority. Whether you side with the majority or not is less important than how you decided whom to side with. As long as you arrive at the conclusion by yourself and don't allow yourself to be influenced by others, you are making the right decision. Aristotle once said “It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.”

Class 7. WFLS. Am I too late to say it’s just like a dream come true?
Quite frankly, military training is tiring. I’ve been told a million times about how exhausted I would be as soon as I finished this grueling training, and I don’t have any objection about that. However, now, I’ve got an Yes and No! I mean, physically,Yes, I have sun-tanned skin right now and for the first time I loathe being under the sun. Not to mention my sore legs and back. But this is just the heads of the coin. Tails, which means mentally, No! My inability to find proper words to express my feelings seems more and more overwhelming. Incredible? Unbelievable? Marvellous? Extremely impeccable maybe? These words are pale in comparison to the big picture of my future life. It’s like unwittingly, you fall in love with a new group of people, you feel for everything, you fall for everything.
I don’t know if I am being sensitive here. I remember us sprint out the door to assemble because we are running late. I remember us complaining about the miserable food when it’s time for lunch. I remember us sitting weirdly comfortable in a cool dark place when other classes were sweating. I remember us sharing jaw-dropping details about our lives and feel connected to others. I remember all those moments of rapture and ecstasy, all those senses of déjà vu, all those smiles of genuine happiness.
It’s like suddenly, I am no longer a prosaic girl living a plain life. It’s been a long time since the last time I didn’t regard myself as a catastrophe. As a lonely highway.The strong hope for the future made me the girl on fire. As I spoke with some friends of my pastimes and passions, words of such silky texture poured out from my soul with unparalleled candor and cadence. The voice that issued from my lips was at once richer, deeper, stronger than I had ever produced. It was as though an inner self, a core essence, had broken free and taken control. I broke out of my niche!
Anyway, I shouldn’t be too excited because it’s just five days. Even though I have already found some friends with extraordinarily similar interests as I do. Even though this is breaking news for me because I enjoyed be in this together finally. Even though the words of encouragements faded, I still recall them from time to time to taste it all over again. I swear I’m not severed from reality. Momentarily, it’s just impossible to describe all the details that happened during 5 days. I just need to speak all these things about how delighted I am to be in this class and try to be in tranquility…
I am a relatively total stranger to my new school. But it’s such a sensory bombardment for me even to think about it. I wanna be a part of something I don’t know. A fledging dragonfly is ready. I believe that the monarch will be crowned. May the best man win! You are gonna hear Class 7 ROAR!

Experience is priceless. How to become an efficient secretary？ How to prepare for your first child to come into the world？ There is so much experience we need in careers， in life and even in academic studies. It helps one deal with the problems with ease and confidence. Especially activities and to accumulate experience of different kinds is more crucial.
Experience， however， is limited in terms of time and space. For one thing， it is impossible for anyone to experience all the important events and meet all the famous people. For another， as the speed with which skills are obsolete and new problems crop up is unprecedented because of the fast development of society， experience is far less adequate. Depending too much on it only leads to narrow-mindedness and prejudice.
One way to compensate for it is to read books. Books of various kinds can bring us almost unlimited additional experience. From books you can not only trace back to the wisdom of our antecedents， but keep up with the latest developments of science and technology. To be sure， it's secondhand experience. But it is the ideal supplement to our own limited experience. Few of us can travel around the world， or live long beyond one hundred years， but all of us can live many lives by reading books.
Both book knowledge and personal experience are essential. While experience makes one more resourceful， book knowledge makes one more learned.

然而，经验是有限的时间和空间的限制。一方面是不可能的，任何人都要经历所有的重要事件，并满足所有的名人。另一方面，由于社会的快速发展，技能是过时的和新的问题，是前所未有的，经验是远远不足够的。过分依赖只能导致狭隘偏见。
一种补偿的方法是阅读书籍。各种各样的书籍能给我们带来几乎无限的附加体验。从书本上你不仅可以追溯到我们祖先的智慧，但要跟上科学技术的最新发展。可以肯定的是，这是间接的经验。但它是我们自己有限的经验的理想补充。我们中很少有人能在世界各地旅行，或者生活在一百年的时间里，但我们所有人都可以通过读书来生活很多人。
