　　I have a good friend. We are in the same class. His name is Bill. He is 13. He likes sports very much. These sports are tennis, soccer and basketball. He plays tennis twice a week. 　　寒假里，妈妈让我教弟弟学英语。这可真是一件苦差事呀!因为弟弟英语不太好,他平常又不用功。

　　那天中午，我开始教弟弟学英语了。我说：“Glad to see you。”弟弟却说：“Glag to she you。”我听了很生气，说:“不是‘Glag’,‘Glad’，另外不是‘she’，是‘see’。”弟弟虽然把“Glad”改过来了，可是“see”仍是改不过来。我说“see”，他呢，偏偏说“she”，好像成心气我似的。我让他看着我的嘴，看看我是怎么发音。他看了一会儿，改了过来。可是过了一会儿，又读成“she”了。我说：“不是读‘she’，而是‘see’,把舌尖稍微翘一点，舌头的.两边放到牙齿的两侧，牙齿的中间留一点空隙，开始发音，就发出‘see’了。”

　　弟听了，似乎明白了，好不容易发出了“see”。过了一会儿，我又指出“see”让弟弟读，弟弟读出了“see”，我高兴的说：“弟弟终于改过来了，这可真是太好了！”

　　又叫了一会儿，弟弟不耐烦了，吵着说不学了。我灵机一动：要不学着英语老师那样，一边讲，一边做游戏。于是，我就把我的想法说给弟弟听，弟弟拍手赞成。顿时，他想变了一个人，一下子有了精神。经过半个小时的努力，弟弟不仅把课文读会了，而且还背会了呢！

　　通过这件事，我明白了：当老师是多么不容易，我们应该懂得老师的良苦用心，老师说什么，我们做什么，做一个听话的好孩子。

　　一天，小花猫看见自己的好朋友都会说英语，他很羡慕。他想：如果我也会英语，我就能用英语和他们交谈了。更主要的是20xx年在北京召开奥运会时，主人去北京观看体育比赛，我就能跟在他身边，用英语和外国猫交谈了，那多过瘾哪！

　　小花猫一向很自信。不是有位名人说过吗？“自信加本领等于一支战无不胜的军队”，小花猫和他的主人一样，很爱读书，他记得很多人类的名言警句，尤其是把这一句当作了自己的座右铭，所以他想：“我一定会比别人学得更好！”

　　小花猫特地去超市买了一台复读机，猫妈妈请来了能讲一口流利英语的波斯猫做他的英语老师。第一天，波斯猫老师教他学26个英文字母，小花猫很快就全学会了，还把它们背得滚瓜烂熟。波斯猫老师乐得合不拢嘴，不住地喊：“Good！Good！”波斯猫老师趁热打铁，又教小花猫读“cat”等英语单词，小花猫也很快就学会了。这下，小花猫觉得学英语太容易了，他很得意。

　　过了几天，随着学过的单词越来越多，小花猫觉得学英语太枯燥了，而且那么多的单词在头脑中“打架”，让他烦透了，所以他不想继续学了。猫妈妈见了，很着急，她对小花猫讲：“学习要有恒心，像你这样怎么能学得好呢？你不是读过这样一句人类的警句‘锲而舍之，朽木不折；锲而不舍，金石可镂’吗？”小花猫听了很受教育。他想：“做什么事都要讲方法，有好方法，才能事半功倍，学英语也不例外，要讲方法，才能学得快。” 可是有什么好方法呢？小花猫一时还找不到，他很焦急。

　　有一天，小花猫走在街上，看到了一条标语“小草青青，何忍践踏”，他不自觉地读了一遍，回头走过的.时候，他又读了一遍，过了好几天，他仍旧会想起这句标语。于是，他灵机一动，把老师教过的单词、短语都写在卡片上，贴在床头边、窗子上、卫生间里，每天都要把这些单词、短语读几遍，慢慢地他就都会背了，老师夸奖他学习进步很快。

　　从此以后，小花猫学英语的兴趣越来越浓，现在，他已经能讲一口流利的英语了。你若不信，尽可以上英语角去找他，与他较量较量，只怕你会输给他哟！

　　爷爷平时最喜欢打麻将。每一天，除了吃饭、睡觉外，爷爷都会在小区的老人之家打麻将。在家看不见爷爷，在麻将馆总能找到他。可这几天，我爷爷没去打麻将，但早出晚归，一天都不见到踪影。

　　有人说：“去打麻将了。”

　　有人说：“去唱歌了。”

　　可有人说：“去学英语了。”

　　我想前两个都可能而第三个绝对不可能，因为爷爷从来未学过英语。我把我听说的事，和我的想法都告诉了我奶奶，奶奶和我的想法一样。

　　一天，爷爷从外面回来，奶奶大声对爷爷说：“你这个死老头，又到哪鬼混去了。”

　　爷爷嬉皮笑脸地说：“保密。”

　　我和奶奶互相看了一眼，都认为爷爷这么神秘，肯定不是什么好事。于是我对爷爷产生了不好的.看法，平常爷爷都跟我一起玩，但爷爷现在找我玩，我都不理他，气冲冲地就走了。

　　那次妈妈要我送鱼给奶奶，可是奶奶不在家。没办法，我只好把鱼交给爷爷，我也没象以前那样和爷爷玩一会，只和爷爷打声招呼就回家了。才走出几步就看见爷爷进了对门王叔叔家。我很奇怪，爷爷去王叔叔家干什么，这个时间他应该去麻将馆呀！我带着疑惑跟在爷爷后面，进到王叔叔家，只看见王叔叔正拿着英语书在教爷爷读英语。这下，我什么都明白了。

　　我一反冲上去说：“爷爷，我不该这样对你。”

　　于是我把这几天的事情告诉了爷爷，爷爷大笑说：“傻孩子，有句俗话说得好——活到老学到老，如果我天天沉迷在麻将之中还得了啊！于是就让王叔叔教我学英语了。”

　　这件事一传十，十传百，百传千，这一个小区都知道了。
