To catch up with this development we all feel an urgent and strong desire to study. However , due to the great pace of modern society , many people are too busy to study full time at school. It can provide different learners with more flexible and versatile ways of learning. 　　说：“现在外国人越来越多了，如果他们向我们问路，该怎么办呢？”我便自告奋勇地说：“那我来教你们学英语吧！”

　　晚上，我一做完作业，外婆就让我教她学英语。我先教她常用问候语，外婆的读音常常不准，单词有些要忘记，她就在单词旁注上拼音或写上一些谐音的`词，比如：“Hello”就在一旁写上“海螺”，我一次又一次地给她纠正读音，外婆也一遍又一遍地读。最令人啼笑皆非的就是“Dog”一词了，任凭我怎么教她，她都记不住，不知怎的她突发奇想地说：“‘Dog’不就是倒走的狗吗？那我只要记住‘倒狗’两个字就行了！”“哈哈哈，‘倒狗’就‘倒狗’吧！”外婆真亏您想得出来。我捧着肚子笑弯了腰。唉！谁让我有个让人忍唆不禁的外婆呢……

　　一个星期过去了，外婆学英语的热情越来越高涨了，从简单的问候语到可以和我用口语交流了。她甚至还去报老年英语班，要专业的老师教她英语。

　　现在外婆的英语水平已经在我之上了，她再也不用担心碰到有外国人问路而不会说英语的尴尬场面了。
