这天，伴随雪花轻快的脚步，我怀着激动的心情来到了育英二外。
在老师的带领下，我们来到了一间教室。在这里，我认识了外教billy，跟着他，我们玩了许多英文游戏，英文单词接龙、站立和坐下……我们在这些游戏中，不仅玩得很开心，也学了很多英文单词，这真是一举两得呀!
接着，我们出了教室，参观起了育英二外。虽然外面雪花飘飞，但我们依然兴致勃勃。在参观过程中，我们也在学习英语单词。因为每个教室的标牌上，不但有中文，还有英文呢，休息室的标牌上就写着“lounge”，还有很多我不认识的单词，在参观过程中，我都学会了。不仅如此，我们在遇到一些特别的事物时，也学会了不少单词，在看到一些教室的门上挂着玩具圣诞老人时，billy就问我们它用英文该怎么表达。我们有的'说是“christmasman”,有的说是“christmas father”,可惜都不对。最终，还是billy揭开了答案，应该是“santa claus”。这时，我们才恍然大悟，我相信，我们以后再也不会记错了。
参观完了育英二外，我们又回到了教室，进行最后一个环节：用英文说出你现在的感受以及想法，不少于2句话，奖品是一个学习英语的软件。很多同学紧张起来，害怕billy选自己上台。举手的人寥寥无几，尽管我也有些紧张，但是我还是勇敢地举起了手。果然，我被老师选了上去，我说得还不错，要是再流利些就好了。最后，我拿到了奖品。看来，做任何事情都要勇敢，不要退缩，只要努力，就不会失败。
今天，我既开心得玩了一场，又学了很多英语单词，收获不小呀!

我以前听说在小学3年级的时候要学英语。我想啊，我又不去英国，干什么学英语啊？现在，我要学英语了，我听老师和爸爸妈妈说，英语是全球的通用语言，学好了才能和外国的友人交流沟通。我重视英语了，并决心要学好它。今天就是我的第一次英语课，我是既紧张又兴奋。
上课时，老师给我们说：“需要购买录音机和磁带作为辅助工具。”回到家里我就急忙给爸爸妈妈说了需要录音机和磁带的事情。妈妈告诉我：“辅助工具很重要，但是上课专心听讲更加重要。现在我们去买吧。”
录音机和磁带买回来了，妈妈告诉我怎么使用。我就打开录音机开始听起来了：先背着书听一遍，然后背着书跟读一遍，最后我看着书跟读一遍。现在该我关了录音机读课文了，我一看课文，呀，我只能勉强用英语说出课文中人物的名字，其他的就不知道怎么读了。这可把我急坏了，恨不得把书给撕了。妈妈安慰我说：“不要着急，事情需要一步一步的来完成，着急是没有用的。我们换个方式来练习一下？”妈妈和我就象课文里的人物一样来对话，介绍自己的名字和打招呼。几遍下来，我发觉我渐渐可以完全读课文了，这个方法真不错！
读完了课文，该听写了。我先看看单词表吧，哇！有的.单词字母好多，我得好好记清楚，字母少的就看一遍。开始听写了，糟糕，我只顾去记字母多的单词，字母少的反而没有记住。不管了，这些不知道的单词胡编乱造也要写完。由于刚才一着急，字母多的单词也忘记了一些，只好空在那里了，最后错了不少。第二次也好不到哪里去。第三次了，妈妈说，再不全对的话，就把每个单词抄写一篇。这次我一定要认真记牢，反复在心里默写几遍，做到万无一失，要不然，罚抄每个单词一篇可不是好玩的。这次我满怀信心了，当然也全部正确了。
今天，我初次接触英语，也是经历了一些曲折吧。从中我也体会到，学习不同的东西需要用不同的方式去对待，但是，有一点少不了，那就是刻苦！

It gives purpose and meaning to an otherwise meaningless, dull life. People under stress tend to bring their potential into full play and to realize their goals.
In my opinion, we shouldn‘t escape from stress but to face it as it is. What we can do is to adapt to the stress and to profit from it rather than to avoid it.
