　　昨天，我们到少年宫学了一节英语课，是剑桥少儿英语。有剑桥少儿英语A、B教材上下两册，口语面对面VCD一张，考级词汇卡一盒，VCD/CD——ROM二用光盘一张，中保万元保险卡一张，彩笔一套，拼图一张，学员卡一张。我最喜欢看的是剑桥少儿英语教材上下两册。

　　开始上课啦！老师让我们排队抽纸条，纸条上有英文名字。我抽到了Annie这个名字，我很喜欢。老师再发了穿着细绳的圆片，在上面写上自己的`英文名字，挂在脖子上。我们学习了第一课《问候》，我们学了“Good morning。”“Hello，Manky Manky。”“Wow，Manky Manky。”“Wow！Panda Pandy！”。还有一个游戏是读英文，用手当锤子在桌子上轻轻敲打，我很喜欢这个游戏。

　　为了今天，我以前可是大下功夫，又是写稿子，又是让妈妈帮我认识新单词，又是自己背稿子，终于等到了今天。

　　我自信满满的走进大厅。妈呀！吓死我了！这里居然聚集着这么多人。有五年级学生、老师、各年级的'英语老师。嗯？还有两个老外！看来，我今天得好好表现了，为自己、为班级而争光。

　　比赛开始了，我是28号，也就是最后一名，我感受到我的心就像一个调皮的小精灵一样，跳得七上八下的——好紧张。该我了，我走上台，感到腿有点发软，好像马上就要瘫在地上了一样；手有一点发颤，好像马上就要把话筒掉在地上一样。当我看见两位老外在默默地为我鼓掌时，我便又鼓起勇气，继续往下背。我的腿不再发软了，我的手也不再发颤了，我的精神又饱满起来。

　　因为我有一点拘谨，所以只得了二等奖。我很失望，因为我原来可以得到更高的分数，但我依然很开心，因为我体验到了我以前从来没有体验过的感受，还受到了一个使我一生受益的启发：只要有付出，就一定有回报。

　　英语是世界通用的语言，所以我一定要学好英语。长大为祖国增光添彩。
