　　i think lots of students like the pop singer named jay. i also like him very much. when he released his first album, i started to buy his album. and i never miss any album of his. do you know as a boy, jay was called dull stupid. but his mother yeh huimei, noticed that the quiet, shy boy seemed to dance practically when he heard the western pop music she used to play. his mother sent him to a piano school when he was four.

　　when he has grown up, he had developed an ability for instant playing beyond his years. i learned to play the piano from 7 years old to 13 years old. i often feel bored when i practise playing the piano. but jay was always crazy about playing the piano. i think he really likes music. so i admire him very much, and i call him "hero".

　　i admire jay. the real reason is when the others all denied him, he never gave up. he tried his best to change his life. i think it is good for everybody. i hope that everyone can learn from him---try their best to do everything. then i think we will make the grade.

　　他在课堂上的讲课更是让学生们捧腹大笑，他仿佛改变了以往的教学方法，使课堂变得有趣多了，也使我们和英语亲密接触。你想听听吗？

　　他在课前提问了我们一些简单的问题，把我们引向英语知识的海洋，然后主要讲了怎样容易记住英语单词，还十分细致地给我们列举了几种方法，例如讲故事记单词，利用汉语拼音记单词，把一个比较难的单词分解成容易的单词来记……最后总结了记单词的.方法。

　　通过这节课，我还明白了我们除了要灵活运用方法外，还要坚持不懈学习，那才真正能掌握知识。如果你想得到巨人头上的皇冠，除了要学会灵活地爬上他的肩膀，还需要持之以恒的努力。

　　上周五，我像往常一样在"米休兔"学英语。下课时，老师给我们布置了一个新的学习任务——录音打卡。

　　我听后分外惊讶，便大声问道："为什么？"

　　老师说："因为打卡可以使你的英语朗读水平提高，同时也可以培养坚持学习的好习惯。"

　　紧接着，老师介绍了打卡的时间为二十一天，每天大声朗读三十分钟，如果有一天没打，就算弃权，如果打卡成功，则奖励十元钱。"

　　我听后，心里一阵小激动："啊！十元钱，那可以买好多零食呀！"于是，我毫不犹豫地举手报了名。

　　可是，一回家我就后悔了，打卡时嘴不停地念着，一下也不能停下来，读得我口干舌燥，心慌意乱，嗓子冒烟，我真后悔呀，真是自找罪受！

　　第二天，我又硬着头皮读了起来，但是，这次已不像第一次那么难受了，读完后甚至感觉轻松了好多。

　　就这样，日复一日，渐渐地，打卡成了我每天生活的一部分，我的英语朗读水平逐渐得到了提高，朗读起来也越来越流利，妈妈听了以后还以为是放录音呢。

　　录音打卡过程虽然有些辛苦，但是很充实，很快乐，还使我的'朗读水平提高了，还得到了妈妈的表扬，我为自己的坚持点赞，这不正是“宝剑锋从磨砺出，梅花香自苦寒”来吗？
