　　我的妈妈是英语专业的，有时候电话一响，可能就要接上半个小时的电话！那个时候，我和小弟弟就会好奇地看着妈妈，“叽里呱啦”的，我们可就听懂一个词：“Hello”哦！

　　我和小弟弟商量了一下，吵着嚷着要妈妈教我们英语，妈妈不假思索地答应了。可是妈妈学的是外贸英语，跟少儿英语是风马牛不相及的啊！在我们的软磨硬泡下，妈妈制定了一系列“教学计划”：买来一套套少儿题材的教科书还有光盘、在网上搜索一些儿歌，精心为我们英语课程做准备。

　　开始上课了，我和小弟弟还有小伙伴们坐在小板凳上，认真地听妈妈讲课。妈妈上的`课可真生动呀！首先，妈妈帮每个小朋友都取了英文名字。然后，妈妈会玩一些游戏，让我们在游戏中快乐地学习英语单词；再者，妈妈的课堂还有儿歌可以听，这些歌都是耳熟能详的，有的是中文歌改编的，有的是国外的英文歌，我都特别爱听。最后，妈妈的课堂是轻松的，我们可以自由地发挥想象，气氛非常活跃，但是我们都学进去了。

　　上了妈妈的英语课，我对英语产生了浓厚的兴趣，在学校的英语课堂也表现得更加自信了。

When we finished our work, it was nearly dark.
