　　新学年开始了，大家屏气敛息地等待着新的英语老师的到来。上课铃声刚响过，便见一位大姐姐拿着教具精神抖擞地迈进我们的课室。她顶着一头乌黑发亮的长发，闪着一双水灵灵的大眼睛，挺着一个秀气的鼻子，鼻子上面还架着一副精致的眼镜，表情却是十分严肃。起初，我们看到她那严肃的模样，心里都不禁惴惴不安，以为这又是一个“凶恶”的老师。

　　英语老师在讲台上停住，环视了一下坐得端端正正的同学们，绽出了一个笑脸：“hi！goodmorning，everyone…”她既优雅又自信的'风格一下子就把我们给吸引住了。

　　“吾姓邓，名小丽，你们以后可以叫我邓老师，或者mis邓，请同学们往后多多包涵！”邓老师眨了眨眼睛，脸上现出了调皮状：“大家不要太喜欢我哦！”教室里顿时笑倒一片。

　　邓老师等同学们的笑声停止后，很快敛起笑容，撇着嘴说道：“另外，请同学们要注意了，上课看课外书的、睡觉的、走神的，讲话的……统统都逃不过我的法眼！”说到这里，她脸上出现“得意”状，“本老师的眼睛可是会‘180度转动’的！”说完，她用酷酷的目光从我们的脸上扫过，从左边再到右边，又从右到左，直看得我们个个心生敬畏。

　　“好了，我们现在正式开始上课……”邓老师转眼又换成一副和蔼可亲表情。

　　嘿嘿，我的英语老师表情丰富吧？这才是刚开始，以后她的表情包可多了，“害羞”的、“惊讶”的、“发怒”的、甚至是“抓狂”的……当然“微笑”的表情包她是用得最多！要不，我们全班同学又怎么会这么喜欢她呢！

　　三年级下学期时，有一天，陆老师急匆匆地走进教室大声叫道：“你们怎么只交来这么一点本子？没带的站起来！一、二、三、四……既然有三十几人没带，给我出去写十遍！”被陆老师叫出去写的同学，有的站着写，有的坐着写，还有的趴着写。不一会他们就一个接着一个的回到自己座位上了。

　　现在我们已经四年级了，长大了，也懂事了，已经很少有人忘带或没带作业了。

Some are in favor of the rating system, They hold that since students attend the teachers classes every day, they should have their opinion about their teachers effectiveness. Others, on the contrary, are strongly against it. They believe that there is much more to teaching than what is shown on students rating forms. Students should not be expected to judge whether the materials they use are up to date or how well the teacher knows about the subject. These judgments require professional knowledge, which is best left for the teachers colleagues.

　　I think students rating of their teachers is necessary, but it should be conducted in a way that can really shed meaningful light on teachers performance. Instead of rating the teachers knowledge on the subject, students should be asked to estimate what they have learned in a course, and to report on such things as a teachers ability to communicate with students, his or her relationship with students, and his or her ability to arouse students interest in the subject.
