　　我们的`新英文老师是史密斯先生。他戴着一副厚厚的眼睛，表情总是很严肃，对我们也很严格，我从没见他笑过。教师节到了。我和同学们计划要送给他一份特别的礼物——给他一个微笑。于是，淘气的约翰假装昏倒在教室。史密斯先生一进教室，吓了一大跳，赶紧抱起约翰往医院跑。在路上，约翰突然大笑了起来，这把老师弄糊涂了。在我们告诉老师这只是一个玩笑以后，老师也开怀大笑起来。终于看见老师笑了，我们很开心。

　　Our new English teacher is Mr. Smith. He wears a pair of thick glasses. He is very serious and strict to us. I never saw him smile until the Teachers’ Day. On the Teachers’ Day, my classmates and I planned to give him a special gift——a smile. So the naughty John pretended to have passed out in the classroom. When Mr. Smith came in, he was so scared that he held John in his arms right away. On the way to the hospital, John burst into laughter suddenly, which made the teacher confused. I am lucky to have met many good teachers who have their own characteristics. As we all know that not all students can do well in study, so that it requires teachers to be patient enough to help the poor students.
