　　每个星期天下午，我都有一节英语课。教我们的是刘老师，她年轻温和，对学生热情亲切，但是她对调皮捣蛋的同学却非常严厉。

　　记得有一次，刘老师教我们“新朋友见面”和“老朋友见面”的英语。这两句话非常简单，我早就会说了，可是还有一些同学不会。老师说：“给大家两分钟时间学会说，我来检查，会说的有奖励哦！”同学们一听还有奖励，马上行动起来。虽然我会读了，但是也不敢大意，所以就跟同学们一起大声背了起来。过了一会儿，老师让我们停下，问：“谁敢第一个来说？”又笑着说：“对的话，会奖励本子一个！”我立刻举起了手，心里想：这真是一个好机会，老师一定要叫我！老师环视一周，好像看出了我的'心思，笑眯眯地叫我回答。我大声地说“Nice to meet you! Nice to see you!”并把本子递给了我。同学们都露出了羡慕的目光，争先恐后地举起手并摇晃着：“叫我，叫我！”一节课就在这欢声笑语中度过了。

　　我们这个班英语成绩很好，这都是刘老师的功劳啊！以前，有些同学偷懒，不写作业，可都逃不过刘老师的“火眼金睛”，被罚了十遍。现在，他们后悔了，再也不敢不写作业，而且还写得认认真真，刘老师见他们知错就改，老师还给他奖励了呢！还有些同学不认真听讲，老师就点名提醒他们，如果他们还不听讲，刘老师就让他们罚站，并找来他们的家长谈话，让家长好好管教他们。刘老师就这样一直坚持着管理好这个英语班，付出了很多心血！

　　刘老师，您是那默默无闻的树根，使小树茁壮成长，却并不要任何报酬。老师，我爱您！
