Interest Is the Best Teacher
i was not able to get high marks when i was in primary school. teachers didnt like me because i was not a good student. mother considered me as a bad kid. they hurt me by thinking i am a retarded child. but i am no fool.
almost all of my paintings were showed in public. many famous artists had praised me for my paintings. they called me "little prodigy". and dad was on my side too. he encouraged me to do what i liked and what i thought was proper.
he told me that interest is the best teacher, dad did what he could to develop my talent fully. i believe that interest together with hard work will make me a successful artist in the near future.

新的学校、新的学期、新的班级，我们踏入了向往已久的初中生活。在这个万事皆新的开学第一天里，我们便迎来了一位新的英语老师。
英语老师会是怎样的一个人呢？
上课铃响，同学们都认真而安静地坐在教室里，心中充满了好奇。几分钟的英语课文朗读后，全班47双黑眼睛齐齐地望向教室门口。须臾，一位仪态端庄、神采奕奕的女老师夹着几本厚书，挽着手提包，在门口微微扶了扶眼镜，便径直走向了讲台。
什么！我们班的英语老师竟然是陈级长！见到来人，全班同学大吃一惊。教室里更安静了，静得只听见周围紧张的呼吸声。
“同学们，你们记得我是谁吗？”放下手中的东西，陈级长站姿端正地面对着同学们，圆圆的鹅蛋脸上是一片亲切的笑容。
“陈级长！”同学们把背挺得直直的，整齐洪亮地回答，生怕给级长留下坏印象。
“还有呢？”陈级长拨了拨她棕褐色的短发，双手撑着讲台，调皮的`眨了眨眼睛，依旧是笑得亲切。
还有？全班鸦雀无声。
“娟娟老师！”也不知道是谁喊了一声，打破了教室中瞬间的寂静。
“嗯！我的朋友和以前的孩子们都叫我娟娟。你们也可以叫我……”话音刚落，娟娟老师优雅地转身，顺手拿起了一根**笔在黑板上工工整整地写下了自己的英文名字——Jane，“或者叫我，杜鹃花？”
提起这个绰号，同学们弯腰、低头、捂嘴，不禁笑出了声。恐怕能像娟娟老师这样公然宣布自己的绰号，并建议同学们以绰号相称的老师也不在多数吧！气氛一下子就活跃起来，原本由于“初一级级长”而带来的紧张感荡然无存，似乎有一股温暖亲切的气息，在娟娟老师和同学们之间流淌。
“接下来，就让大家介绍一下自己吧！”娟娟老师微笑地说着。
同学们的自我介绍，在教室里时不时爆发的大笑声中进行着。起来自我介绍的同学，有紧张无措的，有吞吞吐吐的，也有应对自如的，但无疑每个人都获得了娟娟老师那饱含鼓励的眼神和微笑。
同学们对娟娟老师第一堂课的评价，只有两个字——愉快！
尽管由于这节课全程都用英语交流，给大家带来了不少紧张感，但娟娟老师生动活泼的教学方式，却让这堂课充满了欢声笑语。不仅给同学们留下了深刻的印象，更是颠覆了大家心目中对于“级长就是面无笑容”的观念。
“娟娟”这位新的英语老师，仅用了一节课四十分钟的时间，便成功地“俘获”了我们的童心。或许在多年后，有那么47个人仍会想起，他们初中的英语老师叫“娟娟”。

How time flies! My life in junior school will come to an end soon. Life was happy in the past three years but one bad thing in my mind is that I failed an important exam last year. I didn’t prepare for the exam because I played computer games too much those days, which made my parents and you upset and worried. I will never forget that day when you talked with me face to face. It’s a pity that I failed an exam but I am happy that I learned a lesson from this failure with your help. That is, no pains no gains. Hard work leads to success and no one can have a harvest without any effort.Therefore, I will study harder than ever. I won’t waste my valuable time any more.
